2. The Afflicted.

The next to whom there finds a Room, all Chrift's afflicted ones:

Who by the Rod were turn'd to God, not Murmuring amidft their Groans.

3. The felf denying Loving Chriftians. The were fuch as loved much;

that had not fo great a Tryal: Yea ready were the Crofs to bear, and had learn'd Self-Denial.

4. The faithful, tho' weak Chriftians. Chrift's Flock of Lambs there also ftands, whof Faith was weak, yet true: All found Believers, Gofpel Receivers. whofe Grace was fmall but grew.

5. The Faithful, tho' unknown to Men.

Alfo among an Infant throng

of Babes for whom Chrift Died:

Who for his own, by ways unknown,

to Men he Sanctified.

All the Saints or upright-hearted fit in Judgment. All thefe do ftand at Chrift's Right-Hand

with Pleasure and Delight:

Cloathed in Bright, a Glorious Sight,

and Shines Day without Night.

Thefe Bleffed ones they fit on Thrones,
Judging the World with me:
Come and poffefs your Happiness,
and bought Felicity.

Henceforth no Fears, no Care nor Tears,
no Sin fhall you annoy :

Nor any thing that Grief doth bring,
Eternal Reft enjoy.

You bore the Crofs, and fuffer'd lofs

of all for my Name fake:

Receive the Crown that's now your own,
Come and a Kingdom take.

THE

THE

Sentence against the Wicked.

Τ

HE Wicked are brought to the Bar,
like guilty Malefactors:

That often times of Bloody Crimes

and Treafons have been Actors.

They must give an Account of all their Actions. Here Chrift demands at all their Hands

a Strict but Strait Account : Of all things done under the Sun, to Number great they mount. For Grace refus'd, and Light abus'd fo wilfully they've shown,

Of Talents by them mispent,

and on their Luft beftown.

Their Confcience will accufe them.

There's no Excufes for their Abufes,

fince their own Consciences

Moor Proof gives in of each Man', Sin, than Thoufǝnd Witneffes.

All their Sins are fet before them."

All filthy Acts, and fecret Facts,

however clofely done,

And long Concealed are there Reveal'd,

before the Noon bright Sun..

Every Word and Thought we must account for. Not only Facts, but groffer Acts.

but every Word and Thought:

Erroneous Nation, and Luftful Motion

are into Jadgment brought.

Sins though small and long past, must be accounted for. No Sin fo fmall and Trivial,

but hither it must come : Ne'er fo long paft, but now at laft,

it must receive a Doom.

Apoft

Apoftates and Run-aways,

fuch as have Chrift forfaken:

Of whom the Devil, with his more Evil,
hath fresh Poffeffion taken.

Blafpheme lewd, and Drunkards fhrewd,
Scofers at Purity,

That hateth God, contemi'd his Rod,
and lived in Security.

We must account for Perfecution, Prefumptions
and Sabbath-breaking.

Saint-Perfecuters, Sabbath-Polluters,
prefumptuous Men and proud,
Who never loy'd thofe that reprov'd,
all stand among this Croud.
Oppreffors, Whoremongers,
Covetous with their Knavery:
And thofe that take by Fraud or Stealth,
and carryit off with Bravery.
False Witneffes and Forfwearers,

Murderers and Men of Blood:
Witches, Inchanters, and Ale-house Hanters,
"beyond Account there ftood.

Sins of all forts to the Bay is brought,

and did receive their Doom:

Go Curfed, go, to place of Woe,
poflefs that difmal Room,

Ye finful Wights, and curfed Sprights,
that Work Iniquity:
Depart together from me forever
to endless Mifery.

Your Portion take in the fad Lake
where Fire and Brimftone Flameth,
Suffer the Smart which your Defert,
as its due Wages Claimeth."
