૬૦ ને તેણે ઘુંટણ ટેકવીને માટે શાદે કહ્યું કે પરભુ તેઓ ખર એ પાપ ગણતો ના ને અંઞ કીને તે ઊંધી ગ

1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

૧ ને શાઊલ પણ તેહેના ખુન શનંધી કબુલ હુતા ને તે વખત ઈરૂશાલેમમાઁની મંડલી પર માહાટી શતાવણી થઈ માટે નેકલે લા વગર ઇહુદાની તથા શનરોનની પાંતેનાં [બીન શરવ] જે

રાઈ ગ*

2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

૨ પણ શુભકત પુશાએ તેનને દાટવા લઈજઈને તેણેને ચારૂ બહુ શાક કીધો

3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

૩ તાહારે શાઊલે મંડલીના નાશ બહુ કીધો [એટલે ઘેર ઘેર પે શીને પુરશાને તથા અશતીઓને ખેંચી લઈજઈને કેદમાં શૌર્યાં

4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

૪ એંમ છતાં વેરાઇગએલા વાતના શારા શમાચાર પરગટ કરતા ચારેગન ગ

5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

૫ તાહારે પ્રીપે શમરાન શહેરમાં જઈને તેની પાશે ખરી શર્ટ પરગટ કરી

6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

૬ ને પ્રીલપના કીધેલા ચમતકારા લોકોએ તેમા છતાં તેણેની કહેલી વાત શાંભલીને એકચીતે નાંની

7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed

૭ કેમકે જે ઘણાને અશ્રુધ આતમા વલગેલા હુતા તેનાંથી નાહટા ઘાંટો પાડતાં બાહાર નીકલા ને ઘણા પખશાહાતી તથા કુલા શના કરા

એ

8 And there was great joy in that city.

૮ તાારે તે શહેરમાં બહુ આનંદ થ

9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

૮ પણ શીખોન નંને એક જણે પેહેલાં તે શેહેરમાં છાઁ ન દુગરી કીધી ને પોતે કોઇ નાહટા એંમ કેહેતાં ભાનના લોકોને મીનાંખા હુતા

10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

૧૦ નાઁાંનાથી હોટા સુધી તે રવે તેહેને માંનીને કહું કે એ નાણુ[માં]દેવનું મહાટું શાનરથ છે

11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

૧૧ ને તેણે તેને ઘણીવાર થઈ નદુગરીથી નાહીન ખા હુતા માટે તેઓએ તેહેને નાના

12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things

concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

૧૨ પશુ દેવના રાજના તથા ઇશ્યુ ખીશટના નોંમ શમઁધી ના જે શારા શમાચાર પ્રીલપ પરગટ કરતો હુતા તે પર ન હારે તેઓએ વીશવાશ કીધા તાહારે પુરાએ તથા અશતી ઓએ પણ બાપતીશન પાઁનીલીધું

13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

૧૩ તાહારે શીખાન પોતે પણુ વીશવાશ કરીને બાષીશી થ ઈને ીલપની શાથે લાગુરહા ને અચરત કાંના તથા નેહાટા ચમ તકાર થતા ોઈને તે વીશને પાંના

14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

૧૪ પછી શુભરાનીએ દેવની વાત માંનીલીધી હેવું ઈરૂશાલેમ નાંના નાકલેલાઓએ શાંભલીને પીતરને તથા ઇહાનને તેની પાશે તાકલા

15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

૧૫ એએએ તાંહાં પાÌોંચીને તેને શારૂ પરારથના કરી કે તે આ પવીતર આતમા પાંને

16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

૧૬ (કાંજે તેમાંના કોઈ પર તાંહાં લગી તે ઊતરો નાહતા પશુ પરભુ ઈશ્તુને નાંને એકહ્યું તેનું ખાપતીશન થઊં હુતું ) 17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

૧૭ તાહારે તે પર એએએ હાથ સુકા ને તે પીતર આતમા પાઁના

18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

૧૮ ને મોકલેલાના હાથ મુકવાથી પંબીતર આતના આપાએ છે શીનાને એંન બ્લેઇને તેની પાશે નાંશું લાવીને કહું

19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

૧૯ કે તમે મને પણ એ અધીકાર એમાંટે આપે! કે જે પર હું હાથા સુકું તે પવીતર આતના પાઁને

20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

૨૦ તાહારે પીતર તેણેને કહ્યું કે દેવનું દાન નાંણાથી વેચાથી લેવા એછે અન તેં ધારૂં માટે તાહારૂં નાણું તાહારી શાથે નાશ થાએ

21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

૨૧ એ વાતમાં તાહારો ભાગ કે ઊંચા નથી કેમકે તાહારૂં અન દેવની શાહાઁનાં પાધરૂ નથી

22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be for given thee.

૨૨ એમાટે હું પેાતાની એ ભુડાઈના પશતાવા કર ને દેવની પરા રથના કર કે કદાશ તાહારા મનના વીચાર તને ના થાએ

23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

૨૩ કાંજે ૐ કડવાશના પીતનાં તથા ભુડાઈના બંધમાં છે એ હું નેઊઊ

24 Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

૨૪ તાહાર શીનાને જવાબ દેતા કહું કે તમારી કહેલી વાતોમાં ની કોઈ હું પર ન આવે તેમાટે તમે મારે શારૂ પરભુની પરા રથના કરી

25 And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.

૨૫ ને એ પરમાણે એ શાહેદી મનાવીને તથા પરભુની વાત કહીને ઈશાલેનની ગભ પાછા ફરા ને શનરોનીઓનાં ઘણાં ગાંભ નાં એઓએ શારા શમાચાર પરગટ કરા

26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

૨૬ પછી પરભુના તે પીલપ શાથે ખેાલતાં કહું કે હું ઊઠ ને જંગલમાંનો જે મારગ ઇશાલેનથી ગાનનાં નએછું તે મારગે દખશણની ગમ ન

27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

ર૭ તારે તે ઊઠીને ગ ને જુઓ એક હબશી નાંણુશ ખા જે જે હુબશાણુ દેશ પરની કૉંડાંકે રાણીનેા પરધાન ને તેણેના શય લા ભંડારના ભંડારી છતાં ભજન કરવા શારૂ ઈરૂશાલેમનાં આએ વા હતા

28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

૨૮ તે પાધ્યેા જતાં પેાતાના રથ પર બેઠા હતા ને ઇશાઈઆ ભવીશ કેહેનારનું વાંચતા હુતા
