Ihr suchet Jesum von Nazareth, den Getreuzigten; er ist auferstanden, und ist nicht hier. Siche da die Stätte, da sie ihn hinlegten. 7 Gehet aber hin, und saget es seinen Jüngern, und Petro, daß er vor cud) hingehen wird in Galilää; da werdet ihr ihn sehen, wie er euch gesagt hat. 8 Und sie giengen schnell heraus, und flohen von dem Grabe. Denn co war sie Zittern und Entsetzen angekommen, und sagten Niemand nichts, denn sie fürchteten sich. 9 Jesus aber, da er auferstanden war frühe am ersten Tage der Sabbather, erschien er am ersten der Maria Magdalena, von welcher er sieben Teufel ausgetrieben hatte. 10 Und sie gieng hin, und verkündigte es denen, die mit ihm gewesen waren, die da Leide trugen, und weineten. 11 Und dieselbigen, da sie höreten, daß er lebete, und wäre ihr erschienen, glaubten sie nicht. 12 Darnach, da zween aus ihnen wandelten, offenbarte er sich unter einer andern Gestalt, da sie aufs Feld giengen. A CHAPTER XVI. Und der Herr wirfte mit ihnen, und bekräftigte das Wort durch mitfolgende Zeichen. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 T So then, after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Denn ich bin alt, und mein Weib ist betaget. 19 Der Engel antwortete, und sprach zu ihm: Ich bin Gabriel, der vor Gott stehet, und bin gesandt, mit dir zu reden, daß ich dir solches verkündigte. 20 Und siehe, du wirst verstummen, und nicht reden können, bis auf den Tag, da dieß geschehen wird; darum, daß du meinen Worten nicht geglaubet hast, welche sollen erfüllet werden zu ihrer Zeit. 21 Und das Volk wartete auf Zachariam, und verwunderte sich, daß er so lange im Tempel verzog. 16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. 18 And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years. 19 And the angel answering, said unto him, I am Gabriel, that | stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. 20 And behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season. 21 And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple. 22 Und da er heraus gieng, konnte 22 And when he came out, he er nicht mit ihnen reden. Und er winkte ih-vision in the temple; for he becknen, und blieb stumm. oned unto them, and remained speechless. 23 Und es begab sich, da die Zeit feines Amts aus war, gieng er heim in fein Haus. 24 Und nach den Tagen ward sein Weib Elisabeth schwanger, und verbarg sich fünf Monate, und sprach: 25 Also hat mir der Herr gethan in den Tagen, da er mich angesehen hat, daß er meine Schmach unter den Men schen von mir nähme. 26 Und im sechsten Monat ward der Engel Gabriel gefandt von Gott in eine Stadt in Galiläa, die hießt Nazareth, 23 And it came to pass, that as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house. 24 And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying, 25 Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men. 26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 Zu einer Jungfrau, die vertrauet war einem Manne, mit Namen Joseph, vom Hause Davids; und die Jungfrau hieß Maria. 28 Und der Engel kam zu ihr hinein, und sprach: Gegrüfset seyft du, Hold felige; Der Herr ist mit dir, du Gebenedehete unter den Weibern! 29 Da sie aber ihn fah, erschrak sie über seiner Rede, nnd gedachte: Welch ein Gruß ist das? 30 und der Engel sprach zu ihr: Fürchte dich nicht, Maria, du hast Gnade beh Gott gefunden. 31 Siehe, du wirst schwanger werden im Leibe, und einen Sohn gebären, deß Namen sollst du Jesus heissen. 32 Der wird groß, und ein Sohn des höchsten genannt werden, und Gott der Herr wird ihm den Stuhl seines Vaters Davids geben; 33 Und er wird ein König seyn. über das Haus Jakobs ewig lich, und seines Königreich 8 wird kein Ende seyn. 34 Da sprach Maria zu dem Engel: Wie soll das zugehen? Sintemal ich von keinem Manne weiß. 35 Der Engel antwortete, und sprach zu ihr Der heilige Geist wird über dich kommen, und die Kraft des Höch ften wird dich überschatten. Darum auch das Heilige, das von dir geboren wird, wird Gottes Sohn genannt werden. 36 Und siehe, Elisabeth, deine Ge= freundtin, ist auch schwanger mit einem Sohne, in ihrem Alter; und gehet jetzt im sechsten Monate, die im Geschreh ist, daß sie unfruchtbar sey. 37 Denn bey Gott ist kein Ding unmöglich. 38 Maria aber sprach: Siche, ich bin des Herrn Magd; mir geschehe, wie du gesagt hast. Und der Engel schied von ihr. 39 Maria aber stand auf in den Tagen, und gieng auf das Gebirge eilends, zu der Stadt Judâ. 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the vir gin's name was Mary. 28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee blessed art thou among wo men. 29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David. 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee, shall be called the Son of God. 36 And behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren: 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. 38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. 39 And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill-country with Ihaste, into a city of Juda, |
