multitudes marvelled, saying, It máaten hairán hokar kahne lawas never so seen in Israel.

34 But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.

35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

gín, ki Aisá kabhi baní Isráil men na dekhá thá.

34 Par Farísíon ne kahá, ki Wuh dewon ke sardár kí kumak se dewon ko nikáltá hai.

35 Aur sá un sab shahron, aur gánwon men, un ke majmaon men tálím kartá, aur us bádsháhat kí khushkhabarí detá, aur un logon ke harek ázár ko dúr kartá phirá.

36 Aur jab us ne jamáaton ko dekhá, use un par rahm áyá, kynki we, un bheron kí mánind, jo bechaupán hon, ájiz aur mutafarriq thín.

37 Tab us ne apne shágirdon se kahá, ki Filhaqiqat pakí húí ziráąt to bahut hai, lekin mazdúr kam hain;

38 Isliye tum ziráąt ke málik se cháho, ki wuh apní ziráąt ke wáste mazdúr bhej de.

DASWAN BAB.

1 Phir us ne apne bárah shágirdon ko pás bulákar unhen qudrat bakhshí, táki palíd rúhon ko nikálen, aur har tarah kí bímári, aur har qism ke ázár se shifá bakhshen.

2 Aur bárah hawáríon ke nám ye hain; pahlá, Shamún, jo Pitras kahlátá hai, aur us ká bháí Andriyás; aur Zibidí ká betá Yaqúb, aur us ká bhái Yohná;

3 Aur Filip, aur Barthalimi;

Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alpheus, and Lebbeus, whose surname was Thaddeus ;

4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles; and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,

10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.

11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.

12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.

13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words,

aur Thomás, aur ķhirájlenewálá Matí; aur Halfá ká beṭá Yaqúb, aur Labbí, jis ká laqab Thaddi thá;

12 Aur jab tum kisí ghar men jáo, use salám karo.

13 Aur agar wuh ghar láiq hai, tumhárá salám use pahunchegá; aur agar náláiq hai, tumhárá salám tum par phir áwegá.

14 Aur jo koi tumhárí pásdárí na kare, aur tumhárí báten

na sune, to jab tum us ghar yá us shahr se kúch karo, apne páon kí gard jháṛo.

15 Main tum se sach kahta hún, ki adálat ke din Sadum aur Ghamorá kí zamín ke liye, us shahr kí nisbat se ziyáda ásání hogí.

16 Dekho, main tumh en bheron kí mánind bheṛiyon ke bích men bhejtá hún: pas tum jaise sámp hoshyár, aur jaise kabútar bebad, raho.

17

17 Magar logon se hoshyár raho kyúnki we tum ko kachabríon men pakaṛwáenge, aur we tum ko apne majmaon men kore márenge;

18 Aur tum mere wáste hákimon aur badshahon ke áge házir kiye jáoge, táki un par, aur awam ke logon par gawáhí howe. 19 Lekin jab we tumhen pakaṛwáen, tum fikr na karná, ki ham kyúnkar kahen, yá kya kahen: is liye, ki usí gharí tumhen un báton kí, ki jo tum kahoge, ágáhí kí jáegí.

20 Kyunki yih tum nahín, jo kahte ho, balki tumháre Báp kí Rúh hai jo tum men kahtí hái. 21 Aur bhái bhái ko aur báp farzand ko qatl ke liye pakaṛwáegá: aur laṛke apne má báp ká muqábala karenge, aur unhen halák karwáenge.

22 Aur mere nám ke wáste sab tum se dushmaní karenge: par jo koí ki ákhir tak sabr karegá, naját páwegá.

23 But when they persecute

you in this city, flee ye into another; for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Sou of man be come.

24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

25 It is enough for the disciciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

30 But the very hairs of your heard are all numbered.

31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

32 Whosoever therefore shal

23 Aur jab we tumhen ek shahr men satáwen, tum dúsre shahr ko bhág jáo: main tum se sach kahtá hún, ki Tum Isráil kí bastion men darobast na phiroge, jab tak ki Ibn i ádam na á le.

24 Shagird ustád se, aur khádim makhdúm se bartar nahín.

25 Bas hai, ki shágird apne ustád kí mánind, aur khadim makhdúm ke barábar ho. Aur jab ki unhon ne sahib i ķhána ká nám Báalzabil rakhá hai, kitná kuchh ziyada gharáne ke logon ká nám dharenge?

26 Pas tum un se mat daro: kyúpki aisí koí chíz poshida nahín, jo záhir na ho; aur makhfí, jo jání na jáe.

27 Jo kuchh ki main tumhen andhere men kahtá hún, tum use ujále men kaho: aur jo kuchh ki tumháre kán men kahá jáe, kothon par barmalá kaho.

28 Aur un se, jo badan ko márte hain, aur ján ko már nahin sakte, na daro: balki makhsús us se daro, jo qádir hai, ki ján aur tan donon ko jahannam men halák kare.

29 Kyá adhele ko do chiriyán nahin biktín? aur uu men se ek bhí, tumháre Báp ke be ittila, zamín par nahin girtí.

30 Aur tumháre sir ke bál bhí sab gine hue hain.

31 Pas tum mat daro, kyúnki tum bahut sí chiriyon se bihtar ho.

32 Pas jo koí ki logon ke áge

confess me before men, him will

I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent

me.

41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

merá muqir hogá, main bhí apne Báp ke áge, jo ásman par hai, us ká muqir húngá.

33 Aur jo koí ki logon ke áge merá munkir hogá, main bhí apne Báp ke áge, jo ásmán par hai, us ká munkir húngá.

34 Yih gumán na karo, ki main zamín par miláp karwáne áyá hún; miláp karwáne nahíu, balki talwar chalwáne áyá hún.

35 Main is liye áyá hún, ki mard ko us ke báp se, aur beţi ko us kí má se, aur bahú ko us kí sás se judá karún.

36 Aur insán ke dushman usí ke kunbe ke log honge.

37 Jo koi ki báp yá má ko mujh se ziyáda piyár karta hai, wuh mere láiq nahín: aur jo koí ki bete ya beți ko mujh se ziyáda chátá hai, mere láiq nahín.

38 Aur jo koí ki apní salíb na utháwe, aur meri pairawí kare, merí láiq nahin.

39 Jo koí ki apní ján ko bachátá hai, use ganwáegá: aur jo mere waste apní ján ganwátá hai, use páwegá.

40 Jokoi tumhárí pásdárí kare, merí pásdárí karta hai, aur jo meri pásdárí kartá hai, us kí, jis ne mujhe bhejá, pásdárí kartá hai.

41 Jo koi ki nabí ke nám se nabí kí pásdárí kare, nabí ká ajr páwegá; aur jo koí ki rástbáz ke nám se, rástbáz kí pásdárí kare, rástbáz ká ajr páwegá.
