mother, and shall cleave to his wife and they twain shall be one flesh?

6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?

8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives but from the beginning it was not so.

9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good

to marry.

11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.

12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him reoeive it,

13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray and the disciples rebuked them.

14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

22 But when the young man

23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdon of God.

25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can he saved? 26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes

of Israel.

29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

CHAPTER XX.

1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

3 And the went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the market place,

4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour and did likewise.

6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?

7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.

8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

9 And when they came that were

1 Is liye ásmán kí bádsháhat us shakhs se mushábih hai, ki sáhib i khána ho, jo tarke subh ko ghar se niklá, táki ápǹe tákistán ke wáste mazúr lagáwe.

2 Aur jab us ne har mazúr ká ek dínár rozína chukáyá, to unhen apne tákistán men bhej diya.

3 Aur tísrí sáạt men phir gayá, aur auron ko bázár men bekár khare dekhá,

4 Un ko kahá; ki Tum bhí tákistán men jáo, aur jo kuchh tumhárá haqq hai, main tumhen dúngá. Aur we gaye.

5 Us ne chhathi aur nawín sáąt men phir báhar jáke wahí kiya.

Us ne kahá, ki Tum bhí tákistán men jáo; aur jo kuchh ki wajibí hai tum páoge.

8 Chunánchi jab shám húí, to tákistán ke málik ne apne peshkár se kahá, ki Mazáron ko bulá, aur pichhlon se shurá karke pahlou tak un kí mazúrí de.

9 Jab we jo gyárahwin saat

hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.

11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,

12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong didst not thou agree with me for a penny?

men lagaye gaye the, aye, to har ek ne un men se ek dínár páyá. 10 Aur jab agle áye, unhen yih gumán thá, ki we ziyáda páenge: par unhon ne bhí ekhí dínár páyá.

11 Jab unhon ne yih páyá, to sahib i khána ke áge kurkuṛáne lage,

12 Aur kahá, ki pichhlon ne faqat ekhí sáạt kám kiyá, aur tú ne unhen ham se, jo din ke bhárí kám aur garmí ke mutahammil húe, barábar kiya.

13 Tab us ne un men se ek ko jawab diyá, aur kahá, ki Ai miyán, main tujh par kuchh zulm nahín kartá: kyá tú mujh se ek dínár lene par rází na húá thá? 14 Apná haqq le, aur chalá já : main jitná tujhe detá hún, us pichhle ko itnahí dúngá.

15 Kyá rawá nahíu, ki main apne mál se jo cháhún so karún? Kyá tú is liye badnazar hai, ki main nek hún?

16 Isi tarah jo pichhle hain, áge, aur jo agle hain, píchhe honge kyúnki bahut se buláye gaye hain, par barguzída thore hain.

17 Aur sá Aurshalím ko játe húe, bárah shágirdon ko ráh men kináre le gayá, aur unhen kahá,

18 Dekho, ham Aurshalím ko játe hain; aur Ibn i ádam sardár kábinon aur kátibon ke hátb se pakaṛwáyá jáegá, aur we us ke qatl par fatwa denge,
