19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.

21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.

22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, we are able.

23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.

25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

19 Aur use Amm logon ke hawala karenge, táki thathon men uráwen, aur kore maren, aur salib par khenchen: aur wuh tísre din phir uṭhegá.

20 Tab Zibidí ke beton kí má, apne beton ko sáth lekar us pás áí, aur us ko sijda kiya, aur chahá, ki us se kuchh arz kare.

21 Aur us ne use kahá, Tú kyá cháhtí hai?

We bole, ki Ham qadir hain.

23 Us ne unhen kahá, ki Bittahqiq merá piyála píoge, aur wuh istibagh, jo main pátá hún, paoge lekin merí dahiní, aur merí báín taraf baithná merá kám nahín, ki tum ko bakhshún, balki yih unhen, jin ke liye mere Báp ne taiyár kiya hai, diyá jáegá.

26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

27 And whosoever will be chief

26 Par tum men aisá na hogá : balki jo koi ki chahe tum men buzurg howe, chahiye ki tumhárá khádim ho;

27 Aur jo koí cháhe ki tum men among you, let him be your sardár bane, chahiye ki tumhárá

servant:

28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

30 ¶ And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David. 31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.

32 And Jesus stood still and called them, and said, What will ye that I should do unto you?

33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

28 Chunáchi, Ibn i ádam is liye nahín áyá, ki makhdúm bane, balki is liye, ki khádim howe, aur apní ján ko bahutou ke liye fidya men de.

29 Aur jab we Iríhú se rawána hone lage, bahut se log us ke píchhe ho liye.

30 Aur dekho, ki do andhe, jo ráh se kináre baithe the, Ịsá ká udhar se guzarná sunkar pukáre, ki Ķhudáwand, Ibn i Dáúd, ham par rahm kar.

31 Aur us guroh ne unhen malámat kí, taki we chup rahen: par we chilláye, aur bole, ki Ai Khudawand, Ibn i Dáúd, ham par rahm kar.

34 sá ko rahm áyá, aur us ne un kí ánkhon ko chhúa: aur usi dam un kí ánkhen bíná húín, aur we us ke píchhe ho liye.

CHAPTER XXI.

1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come

EKISWAN BAB.

1 Jab we Aurshalím ke nazdík pahunche, aur Baitfají men koh

to Bethpage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her loose them, and bring them unto

me.

3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

5 Tell ye the-daughter of Sion, Behold, thy king cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

10 And when he was come into

3 Aur agar koí tum ko kuchh kahe, tum kahiyo, ki Khudawand ko ye darkár hain; to wuh filfaur unhen bhejwá degá.

8 Aur bari jamáąt ne apne kapron ko raste men bichháyá; aur kitnon ne darakhton kí dálíán kátín aur ráh men chhitráín.

9 Aur jamaaten, jo us ke pas aur pesh játín thín, pukárke kahti thin, Dáúd ke Bete ko Hoshanná: Wuh jo Khudáwand ke nám se átá hai, us kí khair ho; sab se buland martabe men Hoshanná.

10 Aur jab wuh Aurshalím

Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

11 And the multitude said,This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

12 ¶ And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,

16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and suckiings thou hast perfected praise?

17¶ And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and

men ayá, to sáre shahr men walwalá pará, aur kahne lage, ki Yih kaun shakhs hai?

12 ¶ Aur sá Ķhudá ke haikal men gayá, aur un sabhon ko, jo haikal men kharíd o farokht karte the, bahar nikál diyá, aur sarráfon ke takhte, aur kabútarfaroshon kí chaukiyán ulat diyán, 13 Aur unhen kahá, ki Likhá yih hai, ki Merá ghar įbádat ká ghar kahláwegá; aur tum ne use choron ká ghár banáyá.

14 Aur andhe, aur langre haikal men us pás áye; aur us ne unhen changá kiyá.

15 Aur jab sardár káhinon aur kátibon ne karámaton ko, jo us ne dikláin, aur larkon ko haikal men chillate, aur Dáúd ke bete ko Hoshanná kahte húe dekhá, to bahut nákhush hue,

17¶ Tab us ne unhen chhorá, aur shahr se báhar nikalkar Baitainá men áyá; aur wahan shabbásh húá.

18 Aur subh ko, jab wuh shahr men ane lagá, to use bhúkh lagí.

19 Tab wuh anjír ká ek darakht ráh men dekhkar us ke nazdík

22 And all things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer believing, ye shall receive.

23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?

24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?

áyá, lekin patton ke siwá us par kuchh na payá, tab bolá, ki Qiyámat tak tujh men phal na lage. Aur anjír ká darakht wohin súkh gayá.

20 Aur shagird yih dekhke hairán húe, aur bole, ki Yih anjir ká daraķht kyáhí jald ķhushk ho gayá !

21 sá ne jawáb diyá, aur unben kahá, Main tum se sach kahta hún, ki agar tum iątiqád karo, aur shakk na láo, to tum yih jo anjír ke darakht se kiyá gayá, sirf yihí na karoge, balki agar tum is páhaṛ ko kahoge, ki uth chal, aur daryá men gir par, to waisá hí hogá.

22 Aur iatiqád se jo kuchh tum dua men mángoge so tumhen milegá.
