before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the good man of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 Verily I say unto you, that he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48 But and if that evil servant

rozon men túfán se peshtar, jis din tak ki Núh kishtí par charh baithá, kháte aur píte the, aur byáh karte the, aur byáh men kar dete the,

39 Aur na jáná jab tak ki túfán áyá, aur unhen le liyá; Ibn i ádam ká áná bhí isí tarah se hogá.

40 Tab do shakhs, jo maidán men honge; ek giriftár hogá, aur dúsrá chhúṭ jáegá.

41 Do randíán, jo chakki pístiyán hongin; ek pakṛí jáegí, aur dúsrí chhút jáegí.

42 Is liye jágte raho: ki tum nahín jante tumhárá Khudáwand kis gharí áwegá.

43 Par isí samjho, ki agar sáhib i ķhána jántá, ki chor kis pahar áwegá, to wuh jágtá rahtá, aur apne ghar men sendh dene na detá.

44 Is liye bhí taiyár raho: kyúnki jis waqt tumhen gumán na hogá, Ibn i ádam usí waqt áwegá.

46 Nekbakht wuh khidmatgár hai, ki us ká sáhib jab áwe, use yihí karte húe páwe.

47 Tum se sach kahtá hun, ki wuh use apne sab amwal par zábita karegá.

48 Lekin agar wuh sharír khid

shall say is his heart, My lord matgár apne dil men kahe, ki delayeth his coming;

49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Merá Khudáwand apne áne men der karta hai;

49 Aur apne hamkhidmaton ko tamáncha márná, aur bádapariston ke sath kháná píná shurú kare;

50 Us khidmatgár ká Khudáwand, aise roz ki ráh na dekhtá ho, aur aisí sáąt men ki wuh bekhabar ho, áwegá,

51 Aur use do tukre karegá, aur us ká hissa riyákáron ke sath muqarrar karegá: wahán roná aur dánt písná hogá.

CHAPTER XXV.

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8 And the foolish said unto the

PACHISWAN BAB.

1 Us waqt ásmán kí bádsháhat das bakira randíon se mushabih hogí, jo apne chirághon ko uṭhákar dúlhá ke istiqbál ko chalín.

2 Aur pánch un men se hoshyár, aur pánch bewaqúf thin.

5 Jab dúlhe ne der kí, we sab ángh gain, aur so gaín.

6 Aur ádhí rát ko dhím machí, Dekho, dúlhá átá hai; us ke istiqbál ko niklo.

10 So jab we mol lene gain, dúlhá á pahunchá; aur we jo taiyár thín, us ke sáth shādi ke ghar men andar gain: aur darwáza band húá.

11 Pichhe we aur kunwáríáy yihí kahtí húí áín, ki Ai Ķhudáwand, hamáre liye khol.

13 Is liye jágte raho, kyúnki tum nahín jante, ki Ibn i ádam kaun se din, aur kaun sí gharí men áwegá.

14 Is liye ki yih us shakhs kí mánind hai, jis ne safar karte húe apne khádimon ko buláyá, aur apna amwál un ke supurd kiyá.

15 Aur ek ko pánch tore, aur dúsre ko do, aur tísre ko ek; har ek shakhs ko us kí qábiliyat ke muwáfiq diye; aur filfaur safar kiya.

17 Aur isí tarah us ne bhí,

received two, he also gained other jis ne do páye the, aur do katwo.

18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

19 After a long time the Lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

20 And so he that had received five talents, came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliverest unto me five talents behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21 His lord said unto him, well done, thou good and faithful servant thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord;

22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

máye.

18 Par jis ne ek payá thá, gayá, aur zamín khodkar apne áqá ke zar ko gár diyá.

19 Bahut muddat ke bad un khádimon ká áqá áyá, aur un se hisáb lene lagá.

20 Chunánchi jis ne pánch tore paye the, áyá, aur pánch toṛe aur bhí láyá, aur kahá, Ai Ķhudáwand, tú ne mujhe pánch tore sompe the: dekh,ki Main ne un ke siwá pánch tore aur bhí kamáye. 21 Us ke áqá ne use kahá, ki Ai achchhe diyánatdár khádim, áfrín: thorí sí chízon men tú diyánatdár niklá, main tujhe bahut sí chízon par muķhtár karúngá: tú apne áqá kí khushnúdí men dákhil ho.

23 Us ke áqá ne use kahá, Ai achchhe diyánatdár khádim, shábásh; tú thorí sí chízon men diyánatdár niklá, main tujh ko bahut sí chízon par mukhtár karúngá: tú apne áqá kí khushnúdí men dákhil ho.

24 Phir wuh, jis ne ek toṛá páyá thá, áyá, aur bolá, ki Ai aur Khudáwand, main tujhe jántá thá, ki tú kará ádmí hai, aur dirau karnewálá wahan, jahán tú ne nahín boyá; aur jamą karnewálá wahán, jahán tú ne nahín chhínţá:

25 And I was afraid and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. 26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

away

29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken even that which he hath. 30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

31 ¶ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come,

25 So main dará, aur jáke tere tore zamín men chhipá rakhá : dekh, terá jo hai, so maujúd hai. 26 Us ke áqá ne jawáb diyá, aur use kahá, ki Badzát, aur káhil khidmatgar, tú ne jáná ki jahán main ne nahín boyá, dirau kartá húp, aur jaháu main ne nahin chhința, jamą kartá hún : 27 Pas tujhe lázim thá, ki tú mere rúpiye sarráfoų ko dètá, ki main ákar apná mál súd samet pátá.

28 Is wáste torá us se chhín lo, aur jis pás das tore hain, use do.

29 Kyunki jis pás kuchh hai, use diyá jáegá, aur us ke liye afzáish hogí: aur jis pás kuchh nahín, us se jo kuchh ki us ká hai, phir liyá jáegá.

30 Aur tum us nikamme khidmatgar ko bahar andhere men dal do: wahán roná aur dánt písná bogá.

31 Jab Ibni ádam apne jalál se, sab muqaddas firishton ko apne sáth leke áwegá, tab wuh apní hashmat ke takht par julús karegá:

32 Aur har ek qaum us ke áge házir kí jáegí: aur jis tarah se ki gaṛariyá bheṛon ko bakríon se judá karta hai, wuh har ek ko dúsre se juda karegá:

33 Aur wuh bheron ko dahiní taraf rakhegá, lekin bakríon báen taraf khará karegá.

34 Tab Bádsháh unhen, jo us. ki dahine háth ki taraf hain
