10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)

11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.

12 And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

13¶And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.

14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alpheus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me, And he arose and followed him.

15 And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.

16 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?

17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I

10 Lekin táki tum jáno, ki ádam ká Farzand zamín par gunáhon ke mụáf karne kí táqat rakhta hai, (us ne us ardhángí ko kahi,)

11 Ki main tujhe kahtá hún, ki Uth, aur apná khațolá uṭháke apne ghar ko chalájá.

12 Aur wuh usi waqt utha, aur khatolá uṭhákar un sab ke áge chalágayá; yahan tak ki sab ke sab hairán húe, aur yih kahke Khudá kí táríf kí, ki Ham ne is taur ká kabhí na dekhá thá.

13 Aur wuh phir samundar ki taraf gaya; aur sárí jamáat us ke pás áí, aur us ne unhen nasihat kí.

14 Aur játe búe us ne Halfá ke bete Liwi ko mahsúllene kí jagah par baithe dekhá, aur use kahá ki Mere píchhe ho le. Wuh uthá, aur us ke píchhe ho liya.

15 Aur jab sá us ke ghar men baithke kháná khátá thá yún húá ki bahutse mahsúllenewále, aur gunahgár bhí sá ke, aur uske shagirdon ke sath baithe the: kyúnki we, jo us ke pichhe ho liye the, bahutse the.

16 Aur jab likhnewále aur Farísíon ne use mahsúllenewálon aur gunahgáron ke sath kháte dekhá, us ke shagirdon se kahá, Yih kya hai, ki wuh mahsúllenewálon, aur gunahgáron ke sath khátá pítá hai ?

17 Isá ne sunkar jawáb diyá, ki Bhale change ko hakim ká darkár nahin, magar bímáron ko: Main bhalon ko buláne na

came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

18¶ And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?

19 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

20 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

21 No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.

22 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred but new wine must be put into new bottles. 23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?

25 And he said unto them,

híu áyá, magar gunahgáron ko tauba ki taraf buláne áyá kún.

18 Aur Yahiya aur Farísíon ke shagird roza rakhte the: unhon ne áke use kahá, ki Yahiyá ke aur Farision ke shágird kyún roza rakhte hain, par tere shágird roza nahin rakhte?

19 sá ne jawab diyá, Kyá jab tak dúlhá barátíon ke sath hai, kyá we roza rakh sakte hain? jab tak dúlhá un ke sáth hai, we roza nahin rakh sakte.

20 Par we din áwenge, jab ki dálhá un se judá kiyá jáegá, aur unhín dinon men we roza rakbenge.

21 Nae thán ke tukre se puráne kapre par koí paiwand nahin lagátá: nahín to wuh nayá tukrá, jo us men paiwand kiyá gayá hai, puráne se khepchtá hai, aur wuh phatá játá hai.

22 Aur naí sharáb ko purání mashkon men koí nahín bhartá; nahín to, mashken naí sharáb se phatjátí hain, aur sharáb bahjátí, aur mashken nikammí hoti hain: balki zarúr bai, ki naí sharáb naí mashkon men rakhí jáe.

23 ¶ Aur yún húá, ki wụh árám ke din men kheton men se játá thá; aur játe játe us ke shagird bálen torne lage.

24 Aur Farísíon ne use kahá, Dekh, kis liye árám ke din men tere shagird námunásib kám karte hain?

25 Us ne unhen kahá, ki Kyá

Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?

26 How he went into the house

of God in the days of Abiathar the High Priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the Priests, and gave also to them which were with him? 27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

CHAPTER III.

1 Andhe entered again into the synagogue; and there wasa man there which had a withered hand.

2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.

3 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.

4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

6 And the Pharisees went

tum ne kabhi nahín paṛhá, ki jab Dáúd ko darkár húá, aur us ke sáthíon ko bhúk lagí, tab us ne kya kiya?

26 Wuh kyúnkar sardár pádrí Abiásár ke dinon men Khudá ke ghar men gayá, aur nazr kí roțíán kháín, jinhen pádríon ke siwá kisí ko kháná munásib na thá, ar apne sáthíon ko bhí dín? 27 Us ne unhen kahá, ki Arám ká din ádmí ke wáste baná, par ádmí árám ke din ke wáste nahín: 28 Kyúnki ádam ká Farzand árám ke din ká málik bai.

TISRA BAB.

1 Wuh phir jamaat men gayá; wahan ek shakhs thá, jis ká ek háth sun ho gayá thá.

2 Tab we use tak rahe, ki árám ke din men wuh use changá karegá, ki nahín; táki us par aib lagáwen.

3 Tab Isá ne us shakhs ko kahá, jis ká háth sun thá, ki Bích men khará ho.

4 Phir us ne unhen kahá, ki Arám ke din men nekí karná munásib hai, yá ki badí? ján bacháná, yá ki ján márná? Par we chup ho rahe.

5 Tab un ke dil ke andhápan se dilgír hoke us ne unpar ghusse se nazar kí, aur us shakhs ko kahá, ki Apná háth baṛhá; aur us ke háth barháte hí dúsre kí mánind durust hogayá.

6 Tab Farísíon ne nikalke, usí

forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, bow they might destroy him.

:

7 But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judea, 8 And from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him. 9 And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitudes lest they should throng him.

10 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.

11 And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God,

12 And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.

13 ¶ And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.

14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,

15 And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

waqt Herodion ke sáth us kí zidd men mansúba kiyá, ki use kyánkar qatl karen.

7 Par sá apne shágirdon ke sáth samundar ki taraf alag gaya: aur ek bar jamáąt Jalil aur Yahudiya,

8 Aur Aurshalím, aur Idúmiya, aur Ardau ke pár se us ke píchhe píchhe gaí; aur Súr aur Saidá ko ás pás se ek bari bhir us ke bare bare kámon ko sunkar, us ke pás áí.

9 Tab jamaat ke sabab se, na ho ki we uspar bhír karen, us ne apne Shágirdon ko hukm kiya, ki Ek chhoti náo mere liye taiyár rahe.

10 Kyúnki us ne bahuton ko changá kiyá thá; yahán tak ki jitnon par sakht bimáríán thín, we chhúne ko uspar gire parte the. 11 Aur use dekh dekhke nápák ráhen us ke áge girtí thín, aur chillá chilla kahtí thín, ki Ap Khudá ke Farzand hain.

12 Tab us ne unhen sakht hukm kiyá, ki Mujhe záhir na karo.

13 ¶ Phir wuh ek paháṛ par gayá, aur jinhen us ne cháhá, unhen buláyá: aur we us pás áe.

14 Aur apne sath ke rahne ke liye bárah ko tharáyá, táki unhen nasihat karne ko bheje,

15 Aur we bímáríon se changá karne ko, aur bhúton ke dúr karne ko qudrat rakhín;

16 And Simon he surnamed Peter;

17 And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:

18 And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

19 And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

20 And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.

21 And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him for they said, He is beside himself.

22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

23 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?

24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.

16 Aur us ne Shamún ká nám Pitras rakhá;

17 Aur Zibidí ke bete Yaqúb,

aur Yaqub ke bháí Yohná ká nám Boanargis rakhá, yane garajne ke bete:

18 Aur Andriyás, aur Failbús, aur Bártolmá, aur Matá, aur Somá, aur Halfá ke bete Yaqub, aur Taḍdí, aur Shaman Kinání,

19 Aur Yahúdá Iskaryútí, jis ne use pakarwáyá: tab we ek ghar men áe.

20 Aur log aise jamą húe, ki we roți bhí na khá sake.

21 Aur jab us ke rishtedáron ne yih suná, to we use pakarne ko báhar gae: kyúnki unhon ne kahá, ki Wuh áp men nahin hai.

22 Tab likhnewálon ne, jo Aurshalím se áe the, kahá, ki Wuh Balzabil se milá húá hai, wuh bhúton ke sardár kí madad se bhúton ko dúr karta hai.

23 Tab unhen bulákar, us ne kaháwaton men kahá, ki Shaitán ko Shaitán kyúnkár nikál saktá hai?

24 Aur agar koí bádsháhat apní dushmaní men phút jáe, to wuh Bádsháhat thahar nahin saktí. 25 Aur agar koí gharáná apní dushmaní men phút jáe, to wuh gharáná thahar nahin saktá.

26 Agar Shaitán apná hí dushman hoke phút jáe, to wuh thahar nahin sakta, balki tamam ho játá
