to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)

4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

6 And when Herod would have brought him fourth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

ziyádatí kí, ki Pitras ko bhí pakaṛ liyá. (Aur yih di Fisah ke dinon men húá.)

4 Aur us ko pakaṛke qaid men dálá, aur chár chár sipáhíon ke pahre men sompá, ki us kí khabardárí karen, aur cháhá, ki Fisah ke bad use logon ke sámhne lejáe.

5 Pas qaid men Pitras kí khabardárí hotí thí: par kalisa dil se us ke liye nit Ķhudá se dua mángá karte.

6 Aur jab Herodis ne cháhá, ki use bahar nikále, us rát Pitras do zanjíron se bandhá, do sipáhíon ke bích men sotá thá: aur chaukíwále darwáze par qaidkháne ke chaukí kar rahe the. 7 Dekho, ki Khudáwand ká ek firishta áyá, aur us makán men núr chamká: aur us ne Pitras kí paslí par márke jagáyá, aur kahá, ki Jald uth. Aur zanjíren us ke háthon se girgaín.

8 Aur us firishte ne use kahá,

Kamar bándh, aur apní játí pahin. Us ne aisá hí kiyá. Phir us ne use kahá, Apná kurta pahin, aur mere píchhe á.

8 And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thyki sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. 9 And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. 10 When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own ac

10 Tab pahle aur désre pahar se nikalke, we lohe ke pháṭak tak, jo shahr kí taraf hai, pahunche; wuh áp se áp un ke liye khul gaya: we nikalke, ek galí

11 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hands of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

12 And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.

13 And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.

14 And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.

12 Phir sochke, us Yobná kí má Mariyam ke ghar áyá, jo Markus kahlátá hai; wahán bahut log jama hoke, duá máng rahe the,

13 Jab Pitras pháṭak kí khiṛkí khaṭhkhaṭátá thá, Roda námí ek chhokrí ái, ki chupke sure.

14 Aur Pitras kí áwáz pahchánke, máre khushi ke phátak na kholá, aur daurke andar khabar di, ki Pitras pháṭak par khaṛá hai.

15 Unhon ne use kahá, Tú diwání húi hai. Wuh apní hát par rahi, ki yúnhi hai. Unhon ne kahá, Us ká firishta hogá.

16 Magar Pitras Lhatkhatátá rahá: tab unhon ne darwáza kholke, us ko dekhá, aur dang hogaye.

Aur kahá, ki Yaqub aur bháíon ko is bát kí củabar do. Aur wuh áp báo

to the brethren. And he depart- har jáke, dásrí jagah chalágayá. ed, and went into another place.

18 Now as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers, what was become of Peter.

19 And when Herod had sought for him, and found him not, he examined the keepers, and commanded that they should be put to death. And he went down from Judea to Cesarea, and there abode.

20 And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king's chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king's country. 21 And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.

22 And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.

23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost. 24 But the word of God grew and multiplied.

25 And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.

Aur áp Yahudiya se Kaisariya men já rahá.

CHAPTER XIII.

1 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was call- | ed Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Selucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

5 And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.

6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus:

7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation,) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

TERAHWAN BAB.

1 Aur Antákia ke kalíse men kaí nabí aur tálímdenewále the; Barnabás, aur Shaman jo Niger kahlátá hai, aur Lukius Kurení, aur Manaen, jo chautháí ke hákim Herodis ke sáth palá, aur Saul.

2 Jab we Khudáwand ki bandagi karte, aur roza rakhte the, Rúh i Quds ne kahá, Mere liye Barnabás, aur Saal ko alag karo, us kám kí khátir, jis ke wáste main ne unhen buláyá.

5 Aur unhon ne Salamis men pahunchke, Yahúdíon ke įbádatkhánon men Khudá ká kalám sunáyá: aur Yohná un kí khidmat men thá

6 Aur us tamám tápú men Pafos tak phirke, unhonne ek jádúgar aur jhúthe nabí Yahúdí ko, jis ká nám Bar-jesus thá, páyá:

7 Wuh Sergius Paulus hákim ke sath thá, jo samajhdár shakhs thá; us ne Barnabás, aur Saul ko buláke cháhá, ki Ķhudá ká kalám sune.

9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,

10 And said, O full of all subtility and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

13 Now when Paul and his company loossed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.

9 Tab Saul, (yane Paul ne) Rúh i Quds se bhar jáke, use ghúrke,

Wolín us par siyáhí, aur andherá chhágayá; aur dhúndhtá phirá, ki koi us ká háth pakaṛke le chale.

12 Tab hákim yih májará dekhke, Khudáwand kí talím se dang hokar, ímán láyá.

13 Ab Paul, anr us ke sáthí Pafos se jaház kholke, Pamfalia ke Perga men áуá: aur Yohná un se juda hokar Aurshalím ko phirá.

14 Aur we Perga se guzar

14 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Anti-ke, Pisidia ke Antákiya men och in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.

15 And after the reading of the Law and the Prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

16 Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand, said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience.

pahunche, aur sabt ke dia įbádatkháne men á baithe.
