Io Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread, 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be alfo. 22 The light of the body is the eye: if, therefore, thine eye be single, thy whole body fhall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body fhall be full of darknefs. If, therefore, the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 241 No man can ferve two mafters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or elfe he will hold to the one, and defpife the other. Ye cannot ferve God and mammon. 25 Therefore I fay unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye fhall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 14 ¶ For if ye forgive men their trefpaffes, your heavenly Father will alfo forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trefpaffes, neither will your Father forgive your trefpaffes. 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they fow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 16 Moreover, when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a fad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to faft. Verily fay unto you, They have their reward. 27 Which of you, by taking thought, can add one cubit unto his ftature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? CHAP. VII. Christ's fermon ended. Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what meafure ye mete, it shall be meafared to you again. 3 And why beholdeft thou the mote that is, in thy brother's eye, but confidereft not the beam that is in thine own eye? 74 Or how wilt thoa fay to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, firft caft out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou fee clearly to caft out the mote out of thy brother's eye. 6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither caft ye your pearls before fwine, left they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. 7. A, and all be given you feck, and ye thall find; knock, and it that be opened unto you: ther which is in heaven. 8 For every one that afketh, receiveth; and he that feeketh, 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in fheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ta vening wolves. 16 Ye fhall know them by their fruits.
