Keep yourself in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Jude 21.-For whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof, so that he that waiteth on his Master shall be honoured. Pro. 27-18.-Lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees. Heb. 12-12.-Make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way. Heb. 12-13.-Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Heb. 12-14.-Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good Rom. 12-9.-Grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Eph. 4-30.--Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Hate the evil, and love Amos 5-14, 15.—Stand

Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live. the good, and establish judgment in the gate. ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, 6-16.-Walk in the spirit Gal. 5-16.-For if ye live

and ye shall find rest for your souls. Jer. and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. after the flesh, ye shall die, but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Rom. 8-13.-Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Tim. 2-15.-Shun profane and vain babblings, for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 2 Tim. 2-16.-Flee youthful lusts but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Tim 2-22 -Lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the ungrafted word, which is able to save your souls. Jas. 1-21.—And be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Jas. 1-22.

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation, the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Math. 26-41.-And let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Math. 5-16.—And what doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works ? can faith save him? Jas. 2-14--For if it hath not works, faith is dead, being alone. Mic. 6-8.-And these I do for the Gospel's sake, that I may be partaker thereof with you. I Cor. 9-23-Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run that ye may obtain. I Cor. 9-24.And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible. I Cor. 9-25.-I therefore so run, not as uncertainly, so fight I, not one that beateth the air, But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection, lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway, (and not the blood which Christ gave for us save me.) No Virtue for Mankind is but Constancy

I find more better than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her, but the sinner shall be taken by her. Ecc. 7-26-And he that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down and without walls. Pro. 25-28-But he that goeth forth and weepeth bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again (reborn) with rejoicing (in a noble family), bringing his sheaves (good fortunes) with him. Ps. 126-6.- Wherefore, O man, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins (in past lives) by righteousness, and it will be lengthening of thy tranquillty. Dan. 4-27.-And he that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness and honour. Pro. 21-21.— Be not deceived, evil communications corrupt good manners. I Cor.

Pro, 6-25. For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread, and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. Pro. 6-26.-Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house. Pro. 5-8.

Woe to the women that sew pillows to all arm holes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt the souls of the people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you? Ezek. 13-18.-Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God. Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Jas. 4-4.-And whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding, but he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. Pro. 6-32.-And he that goeth into his neighbour's wife, whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent. Pro. 6-29.-For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish, thou hast destroyed them (by unnatural death) that go a whoring from thee. Ps. 73-27.

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body, but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. I Cor. 6-18.-And whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Math. 5-28.The body is not for fornication, but for the Lord and the Lord for the body. I Cor. 6-13.-Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? (or Lord Adam)? shall I then take the members of Christ, and

Solomon Persuadeth in an Example of his Experience,

At the window of my house I looked through my casement. Pro. 7-6.-And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths a young man void of understanding. Pro. 7-7.-Passing through the street near her corner, and he went the way to her house. Pro. 7-8.— And behold there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart. Pro 7-10.-She caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him. Pro. 7-13.-I have peace offerings with me, this day have I paid my vows. Pro. 7-14.So came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee. Pro. 7-15.-Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning, let us solace ourselves with loves. Pro. 7-18.-For the good man is not at home, he is gono a long journey. Pro. 7-19.-With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. Pro. 7-21-He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of stocks. Pro. 7-22.—Till a dart strike through his liver, as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life. Pro, 7-23.

Hearken unto me, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Pro. 7-24.-Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. Pro, 7-25.-For she hath cast down many wounded, yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Pro. 7-26.—Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. Pro 7-27.
