In the “Advanced Series" the higher class of calculations necessary for the Merchants, the Brokers (Home and Colonial), and other Offices of extensive business, are introduced. Especial care likewise has been taken to familiarise the learner with the intricate forms of the Stock Exchange and the Railway Market, with reference to Foreign as well as to British Shares, the Manchester, Silk, and Lace Trade, the Corn and Wine Market, the Building Trade, &c. &c. Tables also of the Rates of Exchange, and of the Value of Foreign Money in comparison with the British Currency are annexed.
