The essay "The Protocols of Zion: A Secret Source of Nazi Ideology" (pp. 14-25) [first published in the "Jews and Christians Series" 1 (1941)] discusses the history of the "Protocols, " including its plagiarism from the works of Maurice Joly and Hermann Goedsche. The original purpose of the publication was to warn the tsarist government and to give it political advice. However, the Tsar recognized that the "Protocols" was a forgery and forbade its use at the Beilis trial. Relates to the Nazis' use of the "Protocols" in their antisemitic propaganda. Notes the irony in the fact that the Nazis are using it to accuse the Jews of attempting to achieve world domination, which is precisely what the Nazis themselves are trying to do. Points out similarities between Hitler's policies and the political conceptions in the "Protocols."
