1. To find the Leg A C.

In Fig 1, lay a Ruler from the Pole of the Oblique Circle a to the Point C, and it will cut the Primitive in b; then Fb measured on the Line of Chords will be found 289 30'. In Fig. 2, AC it felf meafured on the Chords is the fame.

2. To find the Angle B.

• In Fig. 1, FE is the Measure thereof 42° 34' on the Chords. In Fig. 2, lay a Ruler on the Pole of the great Oblique Circle a, and the Angular Point B, and it will cut the Primitive in m; then M m measured on the Chords gives the Angle B the fame.

1. To find the Hypothenufe B C.

In Fig. 1, B C measured on the Half-Tangent will be found to be 448 52'. In Fig. 2, lay a Ruler from the Pole a of the Oblique Circle, and the Point C, and it will cut the Primitive in b; then B b measured on the Chords, will be found the fame.

2. To find the Leg A C.

In Fig. 2, AC is measured as in Cafe 2, Fig, 1, and will be found to be 28° 30'. But in Fig. 2, AC measured in the Half-Tangent from 90°, gives the fame.

3. To find the Angle C.

This is found both in Fig. 1, and 2, by laying a Ruler from the Pole a of the Oblique Circle, and to the Angular Point C, which will cut the Periphery of the Primitive in m; then M m meafured on the Chords, will give 569 574 C, as required.

1. To find the Hypothenufe B C.

This is found in all Respects (in both Figures) as in the laft Cafe.

2. To find the Leg A B.

In Fig. 1, AB measured on the Half-Tangents is 36° 15'; and in Fig. 2, if AB be measured on the Chords, it gives the fame.

3. To find the Angle C.

This likewife is found juft as in the last Cafe, in both Figures.
