Then fhall the Bishop, if he be prefent, or elfe the Presbyter that celebrateth, first receive the communion in both kindes himself, and next deliver it to other Bishops, Presbyters and Deacons, (if any be there prefent) that they may help him that celebrateth; and after to the people in due order, all humbly kneeling. And when he receiveth himself, or delivereth the bread to others, he fhall fay this benediction.

When all have communicated, he that celebrates fhall go to the Lords table, and cover with a fair linen cloth, or corporall, that which remaineth of the confecrated elements, and then say this collect of thanksgiving, as followeth.

Lmightie and everliving God, wee most heartily thank thee, for that thou doelt bouchlafe to feed us, which have duelp receibed these holy mysteries, with the spirituall food of the most precious body and bloud of thy Sonne our Saviour Jesus Christ, and doeft allure us thereby of thy favour and goodnelle towards us, and that we be very mem= bers incozpozate in thy mysticall body, which is the blelled companie of all faithfull people, and be allo heires through hope of thy everlafting kingdome, by the merits of the most precious death and paltou of thy dear Son: we now most humbly beseech thee, O heavenIp Father, so to affift us with thy grace, that we may continue in that holy fellowship, and do all fuch good works as thou hast prepared for us to walk in, though Jesus Christ our Lozd; to whom with thee and the holy Ghost, be all honour and glozie, world without end. After the divine fervice ended, that which was offered fhall be divided in the presence of the Presbyter, and the Church-wardens, whereof one half thall be to the ufe of the Presbyter to provide him books of holy divinity: the other half fhall be faithfully kept and employed on some pious or charitable use, for the decent furnishing of that Churche, or the publicke relief of their poore at the discretion of the Presbyter and Church wardens.

And

COLLECTS to be faid after the Offertory, when there is no Communion; every fuch day one or more. the fame may be faid also as often as occafion fhall serve, after the Collects either of Morning and Evening Prayer, Communion, or Letany, by the dif cretion of the Presbyter or Minister.

Slift us mercifully, O Lozd, in these our fupplicacions and papers, and dispose the way of thy servants towards the attainment of everlasting salvation, that among all the changes and chances of this moztall life, thep may ever be defended by thy most gracious and ready helpe, though Christ our Lozd. PON the Holy-dayes (if there be no Communion) fhall be faid all that is appointed at the Communion, untill the end of the Homily, concluding with the generall prayer, (for the whole estate of Chzilts Church militant here in earth) and one or more of thefe Collects before rehearsed, as occafion fhall ferve.

And there fhall be no publick celebration of the Lords Supper, except there bee a fufficient number to communicate with the Presbyter, according to his difcretion.

And if there be not above twenty perfons in the parish, of difcretion to receive the Communion; yet there fhall be no Communion, except foure or three at the leaft communicate with the Presbyter.

And in Cathedrall and Collegiat Churches, where be many Presbyters, and Deacons, they fhalí all receive the Communion with the Presbyter that celebrates every Sunday at the leaft, except they have a reasonable caufe to the contrary.

And to take away the fuperftition, which any perfon hath or might have in the Bread and Wine (though it be lawfull to have wafer bread) it fhall fuffice that the Bread be fuch as is ufuall: yet the beft and purest Wheat Bread that conveniently may be gotten. And if any of the Bread and Wine remaine, which is confecrated, it fhall be reverently eaten and drunk by fuch of the communicants only as the Presbyter which celebrates fhall take unto him,
