Way of Renewal
Renewal in the church is happening all the time, but in the last quarter of the 20th century, the Church of England has witnessed particularly dynamic and powerful renewal of its spiritual life. This book concentrates on eight forms of renewal, through: missions, initiation, spirituality, places and communities, mass gatherings, worship, service and healing. Each chapter begins with a short introduction, followed by three stories of case studies of renewal. The chapter ends with a prayer that is related to the theme.
