I have considered some things in these discourses, too valuable to be left to sink into oblivion; and as the book from which these extracts have been taken, is now extremely scarce, and will, probably, never again be published in this country; I have thought I could not better serve the cause of true religion than by making the following compilation-hoping it will be to the edification and benefit of all those into whose hands it may fall.
