THE daily increasing interest which is manifested by all Christians who have leisure to study the prophecies, concerning those things which are yet unfulfilled, will, I hope, be sufficient apology for a woman publishing her opinions on so important a subject. The first Edition of this little volume was printed during my residence in Sydney; and at the end of the year 1850, I sent twelve copies of it to a friend in London, to be placed in the Great Exhibition if they arrived in time, and if not, to be circulated amongst the London booksellers. The result was, that it was reviewed in the London Literary Gazette, August 14th, 1852. Two years since, I left Sydney to revisit my native country, and before I return to New South Wales, I feel it a duty to republish |
