(a) Money. 1. Reduce fifteen million three thousand and ninety-seven farthings to £ s. D.

2. Reduce 588,483 halfpence to guineas.
3. Reduce £588 to half-guineas.

5. How many times are 33 farthings contained in £42, 195. 6. The number of letters paying penny postage in 4 weeks was one million nine hundred and seven thousand three hundred and fourteen; what was the sum paid by them?

8. Reduce 760 half-crowns to guineas; and 670 half-guineas to half-crowns.

Weights and Measures. 1. Find the difference between 80 yds. I qr. 1 in. and twenty thousand six hundred and thirty-eight inches.
