they which testify of me. John v. 25; 39.

The bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life; he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father, so, he that eateth me, even he shall live by me: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. It is the spirit that quickeneth, the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life. vi. 33; 35;47; 54; 57, 58; 63.

Then spake Jesus unto them, saying, I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. ix. 5.

sheep hear his voice; and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out: And when he putteth forth his own sheep he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; by me, if any man enter in he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth up his life for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and are known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep: and other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold and one shepherd. John x. 1 to 4; 7 to 9; 11; 14 to 16.

Jesus saith unto her, I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in me, shall never die. xi. 25, 26.

Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while the light is with you; walk while ye have the light,

en of the fight.

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. John xii. 35, 36; 46.

Jesus saith unto them, I ain the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me. xiv. 6.

I am the vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; if ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. xv. 1; 4 to 7.

The hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee. As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him: and this is life eternal; that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. xvii. 1 to 3.

Awake, thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. Ephes. v.

14.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Col. iii. 2 to 4.

Who will have all men to be saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth; for there is one God, and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Tim. ii. 4, 5.

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ. Heb. xiii. 20, 21.

Who, his ownself, bare our sins in his own body on the tree; that we, being dead to sin, should live to righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed: for ye were as sheep going astray, but are now returned unto the shepherd and bishop of your souls. 1 Pet. ii. 24, 25.

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood; and it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written to you that believe in the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John v. 5,6; 11 to 13.

And when the chief shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. 1 Pet. v. 4.
