The depth of the comments are overwhelming. This commentary is NOT an easy read.
From the Dispensational view the comments are true, enlightening, & trustworthy. Newell
brings out Covenant information that sould be more developed, but is a good starting point.
The reader must be aware that Newell is a Calvinist. It is necessary to overlook the
Calvinistic doctrine through out the volume. I do recommend this volume for the Dispensational
aspects that are explained, even though, I think they could have been given more space
rather than his Calvinistic input.
"The student will find this a helpful volume on the English text much like Newell’s valuable work on Romans."
