Lingua Brachmanica, quae et Sanscurta nomen. habet, eadem est apud indos quæ Latina apud nos; in qua omnes Legis suæ Libri, Fabulai, HistorisBj Prefces, Orationes & Sacrificia desert* buntur; eam Pueri Brachmanum Filii methodice in modum Grammaticæ edocentur, diversam habent ab aliis Linguis scriptam et sibi peculiarem, solis Brachmanum Filiis edocendam.

Lingua Mogoliana est Lingua vulgaris & usitatislima in vasto Magni Mogolli imperio; inde Mogollana, Mauritana, interdum & Hindostana vocatur.

Lingua Gentilitia est unicuiqde Provinciae propria & peculiaris, multiplicem habet variationem fibi invicem variantibus haud facile intellectam; ideoque a Provincia in qua usitatur fuarn sumit denominationem. Ex his intra Gangem duæ sunt præcipuæ Linguæ Gentilitiæ, Hindostana & Maiabarica.

Malabarici

Malabarici in foliis Palmarum stylo ferreo characteres suos sculptos habent i Brachmanica est Lingua verborum copiosiflima, Malabarica pronunriatione velociflima.

Mauri seu Gens Mogollana nullos habent de suis characteres; ideoque literæ Perficæ usurpantur, & inter Magnates ipsa etiam Lingua Pcrfica pro fua; a dextra ad sinistram solent scribere more Hebræo; scriptura autem Brachmanica & Gentilitia e contra legitur a finistra ad dextram ut apud nos; in sesc contrahunt characteres suos, formasque literarum contrahendo invertunt.
