There are four vacancies in the Board of Managers besides those caused by expiration of terms of office at the present time.

THE CENTENNIAL YEAR

In May, 1916, a hundred years of the service of the American Bible Society will be completed. A committee chosen by the Board of Managers has been charged with the preparation of a general plan for some adequate celebration of this event in the history of the Society. It is expected that representatives of various national religious bodies will lend their aid in maturing these plans. For the present all that can be definitely stated concerning the Centennial Celebration is that it has been decided to prepare a story of the work of the Bible Society during the century, which will be, in fact, a history of its growth and the blessings of success which have attended that growth.

Mention is made in this preliminary way of the preparations for the Centennial Celebration because, even at this stage, it is desired to invite the interest and co-operation of all who have shared or rejoiced in the work of this Society.
