The Rev. G. Z. Gray resigned the Rectorship of this Parish, February 6, 1965. Since that time it has been without a Rector. With the permission of the Bishop and by the request of the Vestry, I have been officiating here since the 1st day of August, 1865.

My predecessor, the Rev. James R. Coe, resigned the Parish last Easter, and I succeeded him the next Sunday. My Report embraces the statistics for the whole year. I have not been able yet to make any satisfactory revision of the lists of parishioners and communicants, but have given the numbers reported last year, which cannot be far from the truth. A beautiful memorial Chapel, built at Stottsville by Mr. F. H. Stott, at a cost of $7,000, was completed last spring and consecrated last June. An excellent organ for the Chapel was given by Mr. C. H. Stott, at a cost of $1,000. Services are held here every Sunday afternoon, and are well attended.

In connection with my usual duties at St. Peter's, Hobart, I have officiated on the first and third Sunday evenings of the month, at Grace Church, Prattsville, where the Services were well attended. I commenced the work on the Tenth Sunday after Trinity.

A memorial font has been presented to this Church, by the late Roderick Perry, formerly of Hobart. It is of oak, handsomely designed and executed by Lamb, and makes a great improvement in the Church, besides being a standing remembrance of one of the best friends of the Parish. The members of St. Peter's highly prize it, as a token that their former adherents still bear love towards the "little Church on the hill."

This Report covers a period of not quite six months, the present Rector having taken charge of the Parish on Easter Sunday last. Since then the congregation has steadily increased, and is now nearly equal to our accommodations. The state of the Parish is quite encouraging.
