207. Is God incomprehensibly great ?
Job 5. 8. Unto God would I commit my cause: Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number.
Job 11.7. Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know? The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
Job 26. 14. Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
Job 36. 26. Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
Job 37. 23. Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice.
Ps. 145.3. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

211. Is the blessedness of God involved in his benevolent designs and works ?
Ps. 104. 31. The glory of the Lord shall endure forever: the Lord shall rejoice in his works.
Is. 62. 5. As the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
Is. 65. 19. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people.
Jer. 9. 24. I am the Lord, which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
Zep. 3. 17. The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing
212. Is God eternal ?
Ps. 90. 2. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth or the world, even. from everlasting to everlasting thou art God. Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men. For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is passed, and as a watch in the night.
Ps. 93. 2. Thy throne is' established of old: thou art from everlasting.
Ps. 102. 27. Thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.
Is. 57. 15. Thus saith the high and lofty one, that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy.
Dan. 12. 7. And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth forever. Rev. 10. 6. Hab. 1. 12. Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord
