i Rom. viii. s. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. And vů. 18. For I know, that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me, but how to perform that which is good, I find nor. 1 Tim. i. 15, 16. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save finners ; of whom I am chief. Hn. beit, for this caufe I obtained mercy, that in me first Jelus Christ might Mew forth all long-suffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to everlasting life.

2 Gal. iii. 13. Chrift hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us : for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. Rom. v. 9. Much more then being now justified by his blood, we lhall be saved from wrath through him. Eph. i. 7. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of live, according to the riches of his grace.

of finful Aesh, and for sin condemned fin in the field : that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

i Rom. vii. 14. For we know that the law is fpiritual; but I am carnal, fold ueder fin. Chap. viii. 33, 34. Who Thall lay any thing to the charge of God's eleet? It is God that justifieth: who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea, rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right-hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

2 Deut. xxvii. 26. Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law, to do them: and all the people shall say, Amen. Rom. i. 18. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness, and unrightcoulness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

3 Isa. liii. 6. The Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Heb. vü. 26. For such an High-priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separare from finners.

4 Rom. vii. 24. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Ads xiii. 38, 39. Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of fins : and by him all that believe, are justified from all things, froin which ye could not be justified by the law of Moles.

5 Rom. üi. 19. Now we know, that what tbings foever the law faith, it faith to them who are under the law; that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Being justified freely by his grace, through the redemprion that is in Jelus Christ.

6 Rom. iv. 6,-_-8. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man unto whom the Lord impureth righteousness without works, saying, Bleised are they whose iniquities are forgiver, and whose fins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute fin. Psalm li. 3, 4. For I acknow. ledge my transgrellions : and my fiu is ever before me. Against thee, thee only have I sinned, and done this evil in thy light : that thou mightst be justi. fied when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgelt. And cxiii. 3. O Lord, enter not into judgment with thy fervant: for in rhy fight ihall no man living be justified.
