THE valuable labours of the Society for the

SUNDAY MORNING.

O ETERNAL and most merciful Lord God Almighty, who hast instituted this holy day in memorial of thy rest from the creation of the world, and of the resurrection of "Jesus our Lord from the dead;"a be graciously pleased, we humbly beseech thee, to illuminate and warm our hearts with the bright and quickening rays of that "dayspring from on high” which dawned upon the earth when He ascended from the tomb.
