THIS Class meets every Saturday Afternoon, in the CHRISTIAN INSTITUTE, 70 Bothwell Street, from 5 till 6 p.m. All Teachers are invited to attend. The Lessons of the Union's Scheme will be taken up as under: CONFERENCE OF SABBATH SCHOOL TEACHERS. The usual MONTHLY CONFERENCE will be held on Thursday, 18th January, at Eight o'Clock, p.m., in the CHRISTIAN INSTITUTE, 70 Bothwell Street. Subject-"PRAISE." To be introduced by MR. J. M. STORRAR. The attendance of Sabbath School Superintendents, Secretaries, and Teachers generally, is earnestly requested. TEACHERS' EXAMINATION SCHEME, March, 1883. PREPARATORY CLASSES. With the view of assisting intending Candidates for these Examinations, a Preparatory Class for the study of subject B, conducted by MR. JOHN HUTCHISON, M.A., of the High School, is being held on Sabbath Evenings, at a Quarter-past Seven o'clock, in No. 7 Room, CHRISTIAN INSTITUTE, 70 Bothwell Street. Text-book, Whately's "Evidences of Christianity." A Class for the study of subject C, "The Principles and Art of Teaching, with special reference to Sabbath School Instruction," to be conducted by PRINCIPAL Ross, of the Established Church Normal School, will also be commenced in the same Room, on Tuesday, 9th January, 1983, at Eight o'Clock. Text-book, Groser's "Sunday School Teacher's Manual." Although these Classes are specially designed for intending Candidates for the Examinations, they will be open to all Teachers, and a large attendance will encourage the Union Directors to provide similar Classes at other times.
