[M.] For this Ointment might have been fold for much, Mr.] for more than three hundred Pence, and have been given to the Poor and they murmured against her. [7] This he (Judas) faid, not that he cared for the Poor, but because he was a Thief, and had the Bag, and bare what was put therein. [M.] When Jefus understood it, [7] then faid Jefus, Let her alone; [M] and he faid unto them, Why trouble ye the Woman? [Mr.] Let her alone, [M] for fhe hath wrought a good Work upon me. For ye have the Poor always with you, [Mr.] and whenfoever ye will ye may do them good but me ye have not always. She hath done what fhe could; [M] for in that fhe poured this Ointment on my Body, fhe did it for my Burial; [7] against the Day of my Burying hath fhe kept this; [Mr.] fhe is come aforehand, to anoint my Body to the Burying. Verily I fay unto you, Wherefoever this GOSPEL fhall be preached throughout the whole World, this also that fhe hath done fhall be fpoken of, for a Memorial of her.
