profess it in its genuine purity; our great care and concern fhould be, that the uprightness of our lives may bear proportion to the equity of its precrpts; and our piety may be answerable to the fublimity of its doctrines. Our great care fhould be, to "add to our faith virtue; and to adorn "the doctrine of GOD our SAVIOUR in all 66 things." Our great care fhould be, to "make our light fo shine before men, that "they may fee our good works ;" and admiring their luftre, may be induced to perform the fame.
