Wash to the multitude of thy tender mercies, blot out our offences. us thoroughly from our iniquities, and cleanse us from our sins. For we acknowledge our transgressions; and our misdeeds are ever before us. Create in us clean hearts, O God; and renew a right spirit within us. Cast us not away from thy presence, and take not thy Holy Spirit from us.-O Lord, we beseech thee, mercifully hear our prayers, and spare all those who confess their sins unto thee; that they, whose consciences by sin are accused, by thy merciful pardon may be absolved, through Christ our Lord. Strengthen us with the Holy Ghost the Comforter, and daily increase in us thy manifold gifts of grace; the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and ghostly strength, the spirit of knowledge and true godliness; and fill us with the spirit of thy holy fear. And so lead us in the knowledge and obedience of thy Word, that in the end we may obtain everlasting life, through our Lord Jesus Christ, who with thee and the Holy Ghost, liveth and reigneth ever one God, world without end.-Teach us thy way, O Lord, and we will walk in thy truth. O knit our hearts unto thee, that we may fear thy Name. Almighty God, who seest that we have no power to help ourselves; keep us both outwardly in our bodies, and inwardly in our souls; that we may be defended from all adversities which may happen to the body, and from all evil thoughts which may assault and hurt the soul, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us, this day, our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Almighty God, the fountain of all goodness, we humbly beseech thee to bless all the Royal Family. Endue them with thy Holy Spirit; enrich them with thy heavenly grace; prosper them with all happiness ; and bring them to thine everlasting kingdom, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Almighty and everlasting God, who alone workest great marvels; send down upon our Bishops and Curates, and all Congregations com mitted to their charge, the healthful spirit of thy grace. And that they may truly please thee, pour upon them the continual dew of thy blessing. Grant this, O Lord, for the honour of our Advocate and Mediator, Jesus Christ. Continue thy goodness towards us this night," protect us from all danger, and make us to rest under thy defence. Thou, O Lord, art our refuge and our fortress: our God, in thee will we trust.
