Our Saviour's Concern for the Common People a

Pattern for his Followers, especiaily for his Ministers.

MATTH. ix. 36, 37, 38. But when he saw the multitudes, he was

moved with compailion on them, because they fainted, and were

scattered abroad as fheep having no fhepherd. Then faith he unto

his disciples, The hirvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are

few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send

forth labourers into his harvest.

Josh. vii. 19, 20. And Joshua said unto Achan, My Son, give, I

pray thee, glory to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession unto
