REV. MATTHEW HENRY.
REV. JAMES HAMILTON, LONDON,
AUTHOR OF “LIFE IN EARNEST," “ MOUNT OY OLIVYS," STC
The first Life of Matthew Henry was written by a friend and cotemporary, the Rev. William Tong; and in the present day, a collateral descendant has published in three separate works, the Life of the Rev. Philip Henry, Memoirs of the Rev. Matthew Henry, and Memoirs of his sisters, Mrs. Savage and Mrs. Hulton. Never has biographer fulfilled his task with more conscientious accuracy, more affectionate enthusiasm, or a more delightful congeniality of feeling, than Sir John Bickerton Williams.
