with the understanding also; to hear with profit the renewed message of salvation; and truly and faithfully to fulfil whatever I may now, or at any time, profitably learn, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ON LEAVING CHURCH.

I thank thee, O LORD, for this opportunity of attending thee in thy house and service. Let my prayer come up in thy sight as the incense, and grant that I, and all that are assembled before thee, this day, may be doers of thy word, and not hearers only. Pardon my wanderings and imperfections, my sins and infirmities, and grant me peace in Christ our Lord. Amen.

GRACE BEFORE MEAT.

Bless, O LORD, we beseech thee, these thy good creatures to our use, and us to thy service, for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

GRACE AFTER MEAT.

We thank thee, O GOD, for this refreshment, and for all thy other mercies, for Jesus Christ's sake, our Lord and Saviour. Amen.
