TO THE GALATIANS.

CHAPTER VI.

9. Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint

10. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

THE EPISTLE OF ST. PAUL
TO THE PHILIPPIANS.

CHAPTER IV.

10. I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

11. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

THE FIRST EPISTLE OF ST. PAUL TO TIMOTHY.

18. That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate.

THE EPISTLE OF ST. PAUL TO

CHAPTER X.

24. Let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.

CHAPTER XIII.

1. Let brotherly love continue.

2. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

THE GENERAL EPISTLE OF
ST. JAMES.

CHAPTER I.

27. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the the world.

CHAPTER II.

5. Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

6. But ye have despised the poor.

8. If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well.

12. So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

13. For he shall have judgment with
