Uncommon Views of Common Verses

John H. Hill grew up in a small, rural community in central North Carolina. As a boy he listened as his father related stories from the Bible that bred in him a desire to learn more of God and His Word. His father told of heroes and villains, of God and salvation, and of a love that transcends all human understanding. At the time, John did not realize how influential his father's teaching would be in his life; but, it excited a passion for God that brought him through some turbulent teen years and to a deep admiration for the God of Creation. Uncommon Views of Common Verses is a product of that deep hunger that shows the author's special insight into the hidden treasures found only when one seeks the Lord with all his heart. John is also the author of Foundations: A Commentary on Genesis 1 - 10. John lives in Summerville, SC with his wife Nancy and two daughters: Lindy and Kaylee.
