GOD is the CREATOR, MAKER, and FORMER of all things.

a

By him were all things created, that are in Heaven, and that are in Earth, vifible and invifible, whether they be Thrones, or Dominions, or Principalities, or Powers: All things were created by him, and for him.

b He made Heaven, the Heaven of Heavens, with all their Hoft; the Earth, and all things that are therein, the Seas, and all that is therein: As for the World, and the Fulnefs thereof, and all things that come forth of it, he hath founded thein.

He formed the Light, and created Darkness: the Day is his, the Night alfo is his; He hath prepared the Light and the Sun: And by his Spirit he hath garnished the Heavens.

He gave the Sun for a Light by Day, and ordained the Moon and the Stars, for a Light by Night.

e He hath made Summer and Winter: the North and the South, he hath created them.

f The Lord hath founded the Earth, and hung it upon nothing.

He created it not in vain; he formed it to be inhabited..

h He fhut up the Sea with Doors, and faid,. hitherto fhalt thou come but no farther, and here fhall thy proud Waves be ftaid.

a He formeth the Mountains, and create:h the Wind.

God made every living Creature, Beaft and Cattel, and creeping thing of the Earth; every winged Fowl and moving Creature which the Waters bring forth; and every Plant of the Field before it was in the Earth, and every Herb of the Field before it grew.

c God created Man; Male and Female created he them. Thou, O Lord, art our Father, and we all are the Work of thy Hand. We are the Clay and thou our Potter. Thy Hands have made us, and fashioned us, Thou haft clothed us with Skin and Flesh, and haft fenced us.with Bones and Sinews. Thine Eyes did fee our Subftance yet being unperfect, and in thy Book were all our Members written, which in continuance were fashion'd, when as yet there was none of them.

d The Lord hath formed the Spirit of Man within him; he hath made us this Soul.

eHe made, of one Blood, all Nations of Men, for to dwell on all the face of the Earth.

f The Lord he is God, it is he that hath made us, and not we our felves, we are his People and the Sheep of his Pafture.

8 He hath created us for his Glory: He hath formed us for himself, that we should fhew forth his Praife.

a By the Word of the Lord were the Heavens made, and all the Hoft of them by the Breath of his Mouth.

b Through Faith we understand that the Worlds were framed by the Word of God, fo that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

He fpake and they were made, he conimanded and they were created. He faid let them be, and it was fo.

d The Lord hath made all things for himself; and for his Pleasure they are and were created. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things.

e Why then hath the Fool faid in his Heart there is no God? Understand ye brutish among the People, and ye Fools when will ye be Wife? Shall the Work say of him that made it, he made me not?

f Every House is builded by fome Man, but he that built all things is God.

GOD is the PRESERVER of all things.

By him all things confift.

h He preferveth and upholdeth all things by the Word of his Power; and they continue this Day according to his Ordinances.

a The Counsel of the Lord, that shall stand, and he will do all his pleasure.

b All Angels and Authorities, and Powers, are fubject to him; and his Angels do his Commandments, hearkning unto the Voice of his. Word.

The Sun, and the Moon, and the Stars, even all the Hoft of Heaven, The Lord hath divided unto all Nations, under the whole Heaven.

He appointeth the Moon for Seafons, and the Sun knoweth his going down.

e He commandeth the Sun and it riseth not, and he fealeth up the Stars. He turneth the Shadow of Death into the Morning, and maketh the Day dark with Night.

f God thundreth marvellously with his Voice, he directeth the Sound of it under the whole Heaven, and his Lightning unto the ends of the Earth.

He caufeth the Vapours to afcend; he maketh Lightnings with Rain, and bringeth forth. the Wind out of his Treasures.

h He faith to the Snow, be thou on the Earth; he calleth for the Waters of the Sea, and poureth them out upon the Face of the Earth..

i By the Breath of God Froft is given, and the Breadth of the Waters is ftraitned.

round about by his Counfels, that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them, upon the Face of the World in the Earth: He caufeth them to come, whether for Correction, or Mercy.

a The Lord giveth Rain, both the former and the latter Rain in his Seafon, that Men may gather in their Corn, their Wine, and their Oyl: He also fhutteth up the Heaven, that there be no Rain, and that the Land yield not her Fruit.

b He vifiteth the Earth, and bleffeth the fpringing thereof: He reneweth the Face of the Earth, and crowneth the Year with his Goodness; fo that the Paftures are clothed with Flocks, and the Valleys are covered over with Corn.

c He caufeth the Grafs to grow for the Cattel, and Herb for the Service of Man, that he may bring forth Food out of the Earth.

d He turneth a fruitful Land into Barrenness, for the Wickedness of them that dwell therein.

e The Lord is the God of all Flesh, and of the Spirits of all Flefh: All his living Creatures, both small and great Beafts, and things creeping innumerable wait upon him, that he may give them their Meat in due Seafon: That which he giveth them they gather; he openeth his Hand and they are filled with Good: When he hideth his Face they are troubled; when he taketh away their Breath, they dye and return to their Duft.

f He feedeth the Fowls of the Air, and not a Sparrow falleth to the Ground without him.
