a In the Day when ye shall keep a Feast to the Lord, ye fhall have an holy Convocation: and ye fhall do no fervile Work therein.

And, on the Day when ye proclaim a Faft, to afflict your Souls, ye fhall have an holy Convocation. And ye shall do no Work in that fame Day.

The Words of the Lord fhall be read in the Ears of the People, in the Lord's House, upon the Fafting Day.

a Let your Women keep Silence in the Churches for it is not permitted unto them to speak.

b When ye come together in the Church, take care that there be no Divifions among you; left you should come together, not for the better, but for the worse. For if any Man seem to be contentious, we have no fuch Custom, neither the Churches of God.

a Why is the Houfe of God forfaken?

b There fhall be Mockers in the laft Times, which fhall walk after their own ungodly Lufts; these be they who feparate themselves, fenfual, having not the Spirit.

c Lord, I have loved the Habitation of thy House, and the Place where thine Honour dwelleth: And, I was glad when they faid unto me, Let us go into the House of the Lord.

d How amiable are thy Tabernacles, O Lord of Hofts! A Day in thy Courts is better than a thoufand.

a Thine own Friend and thy Father's Friend forfake not.
