"Jesus cried with a loud voice, It is finished!"

"TIS finished!" was His latest voice; 3
These sacred accents o'er,
He bowed His head, gave up the ghost,
And suffered pain no more.

2 'Tis finished! The Messiah dies
For sins, but not His own;
mf The great redemption is complete,
And Satan's power o'erthrown.

'Tis finished! All His groans are past; His blood, His pain, and toils, Have fully vanquished our foes, And crowned Him with their spoils. 4 'Tis finished! Legal worship ends, And gospel ages run;

mf All old things now are past away, And a new world begun. Amen.

1mfSWEET the moments, rich in blessing, 3 mf Here we find the dawn of heaven,

Which before the cross we spend,
Life and health and peace possessing
From the sinner's dying Friend.

2p Here we rest, in wonder viewing
All our sins on Jesus laid,
sres Here we see redemption flowing
From the sacrifice He made.

While upon the cross we gaze, See our trespasses forgiven, cres And our songs of triumph raise, 4 mf Oh, that near the cross abiding. We may to the Saviour cleave, cres Nought with Him our hearts dividing, f All for Him content to leave!

Amen,

If WE sing the praise of Him who died, 3mf The Cross! it takes our guilt away;

Of Him who died upon the cross;

cres The sinner's hope let men deride,
f For this we count the world but loss.

་་

2 mf Inscribed upon the cross we see, cres In shining letters, God is love;" pHe bears our sins upon the tree, cres He brings us mercy from above.

It holds the fainting spirit up;
It cheers with hope the gloomy day,
And sweetens every bitter cup;

4 f It makes the coward spirit brave,
And nerves the feeble arm for fight;
It takes its terror from the grave,
And gilds the bed of death with light

5 The balm of life, the cure of woe,
The measure and the pledge of love,
cres The sinner's refuge here below,
f The angel's theme in heaven above. Amen.

"Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."

1 p LAMB of God, whose bleeding love 3mf Let Thy blood, by faith applied,

We now recall to mind,

Send the answer from above,
And let us mercy find;

Think on us who think on Thee,

And every struggling soul release; cres Oh, remember Calvary!

And bid us go in peace.

2p By Thine agonizing pain

And bloody sweat, we pray, By Thy dying love to man,

Take all our sins away:

mf Burst our bonds and set us free;
From all iniquity release;
res Oh, remember Calvary !

And bid us go in peace.

The sinner's pardon seal;
Speak us freely justified,

And all our sickness heal:
By Thy passion on the tree,
Let all our griefs and troubles cease;
cres Oh, remember Calvary !

And bid us go in peace.

4mf Lord, we would not hence depart
Till Thou our wants relieve,
Write forgiveness on our heart,
And all Thine image give.
Still our souls shall cry to Thee,
Tili perfected in holiness,
cres Oh, remember Calvary !

And bid us go in peace. Amen.

"He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities." ImfTHY works, not mine, O Christ, Speak gladness to this heart; They tell me all is done; They bid my fear depart.

cres To whom, save Thee, who can alone
For sin atone, Lord, shall I flee?

2 Thy cross, not mine, O Christ,
Has borne the awful load
Of sins, that none in heaven
Or earth could bear but God.

3 Thy death, not mine, O Christ,
Has paid the ransom due;
Ten thousand deaths like mine
Would have been all too few.

cres To whom, save Thee, who can alone
For sin atone, Lord, shall I flee?

4 mf Thy righteousness, O Christ,
Alone can cover me;

No righteousness avails
Save that which is of Thee.

For sin atone, Lord, shall I flee?

87 "God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ."

mfWHEN I survey the wondrous cross 3
On which the Prince of Glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss,
And pour contempt on all my pride.

ef Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast,

See, from His head, His hands, His feet,

Sorrow and love flow mingled down! cres Did e'er such love and sorrow meet, Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

Save in the death of Christ, my God; 4 mf Were the whole realm of nature mine,

All the vain things that charm me most,

I sacrifice them to His blood.
