Thou wilt show me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand are pleasures for evermore. PSALM XXX. I WILL extol Thee, O JEHOVAH, for Thou hast lifted me up; And hast not made mine enemies to rejoice over me. O JEHOVAH my GOD, I cried unto Thee; And Thou hast healed me. O JEHOVAH, Thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing unto JEHOVAH, O ye saints of his ; And give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. For his anger is but for a moment; in his favor is life: Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. O JEHOVAH, by thy favor Thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: Thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled. I cried unto Thee, O JEHOVAH ; And unto JEHOVAH I made supplication. What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise Thee? shall it declare thy truth. Hear, O JEHOVAH, and have mercy upon me: O JEHOVAH, be Thou my helper. Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: Thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness: Therefore shall my glory sing praise to Thee, and not be silent. O JEHOVAH MY GOD, I will give thanks unto Thee for ever. LESSON XXI. PSALM LXVI. AKE a noise GOD, all the earth Msing forth the honor of his name, make his praise glorious. Say unto GOD, How terrible art Thou in thy works! themselves unto Thee. All the earth shall worship Thee, and sing unto Thee: Come and see the works of GOD: He is terrible in his doing toward the children of men. He turned the sea into dry land; they went through the flood on foot: There did we rejoice in Him. He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. O bless our GOD, ye people; And make the voice of his praise to be heard: Who holdeth our soul in life; And suffereth not our feet to be moved. For Thou, O GOD, hast proved us : Thou broughtest us into the net; Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: But Thou broughtest us out into a place of abundance. I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay Thee my vows, which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble. I will offer unto Thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams: I will offer bullocks with goats. Come and hear, all ye that fear GOD; And I will declare what He hath done for my soul. I cried unto Him with my mouth; And He was extolled with my tongue. If I regard iniquity in my heart, JEHOVAH will not hear me : But verily GOD hath heard me; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer. 1 G Consider my meditation. IVE ear to my words, O JEHOVAH ; 2 Hearken to the voice of my | cry, my | King and my | GOD; For unto Thee will I pray. 3 My voice shalt Thou hear in the morning, | O JEHOVAH : In the morning will I direct my prayer unto | Thee, and | will look up. 4 For Thou art not a GOD that hath pleasure in wicked- | ness; Neither shall evil | dwell with | Thee. 5 The vainglorious shall not stand in thy | sight: Thou hatest all workers of iniquity. 6 Thou wilt destroy them that speak falsehood: JEHOVAH will abhor the | man of | blood · and deceit. 7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude | of thy mercy: In thy fear will I worship toward thy | holy | temple. 8 Lead me, O JEHOVAH, in thy righteousness, because of mine enemies : Make thy way straight before my face. Ps. v. 2 IT is going praises unto thy name, Thou Most | High; good to give thanks to JEHOVAH, 2 To show forth thy loving kindness in the morning, And thy faithfulness in the night: 3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and up on the psaltery; Upon the harp with solemn | sound. 4 For Thou, O JEHOVAH, hast made me glad through thy work; I will triumph in the works of thy hands. 5 The righteous shall flourish | like the palm-tree: He shall grow like a | cedar in Lebanon. 6 Those that be planted in the house of JEHOVAH, Shall flourish in the courts of our | GOD. 7 They shall still bring forth | fruit in old | age; They shall be fat and flourishing: 8 To show that JEHOVAH is | upright; My Rock, and there is no un righteousness | in Him. III. Ps. xcii. 9: 3 BEHOLD, how good and how pleasant it is, For brethren to dwell together in unity. 2 It is like the precious ointment up on the | head, That ran down up on the | beard, 3 Even Aaron's beard, That went down to the border of his garments. 4 It is like the dew of Hermon, That descended up on the mountains of | Zion : 5 For there JEHOVAH commanded the blessing, Even life for ever more. Ps. cxxxiii. IV. 4 Co OMFORT ye, comfort ye my people, saith your | GOD: And cry unto her, that her | warfare is accomplished, 2 That her iniquity is pardoned: For she hath received from JEHOVAH'S | hand Double for all her sins. 3 The voice of him that crieth | in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of JE HOVAH, Make straight in the desert a highway | for our | GOD. 4 Every valley shall be exalted; And every mountain and hill made | low: And the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough | places plain. 5 And the glory of JE HOVAH shall be revealed: And all flesh shall For the mouth of JEHOVAH hath | spoken | it. 5 MAKE Is. xl. AKE a joyful noise unto JEHOVAH, | all the | earth : Come before his face with singing. 2 Know ye that JEHOVAH | He is | GOD: He hath made us, and not we ourselves, His people, and the | sheep | of his pasture. 4 For JEHOVAH | He is good: His mercy is ever lasting, And his truth to all generations.
