ISA. xxix. 13: The words under ver. 8. COL. ii. 18, 20, 22: Let no man beguile you of your reward, in a voluntary humility, and worshipping of angels, intruding in those things which they have not seen. Why, as though living in the world are ye subject to ordinances-after the commandments and doctrines of men. TIT. i. 14: Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

MAT. xii. 34: How can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. LUKE, vi. 45 : A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

MARK, vii. 21: For, from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders. ACTS, viii. 22: Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thy heart may be forgiven thee. GAL. v. 19-21: Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

▾ MARK, Vii. 24: From thence he arose and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon.

Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house' of Israel. 25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to east it to' dogs. 27 And she said, Truth, Lord; yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their master's table.

28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt." And her daughter was made whole from that very 2 hour.

31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, 12 the lame to walk, and the blind to see and they glorified the God of Israel.

32 Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compasion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

33 And1 his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill1 so great a multitude?

LUKE, vii. 22: Go your way, tell John what things ye have seen and heard, how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
