Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them great things the Lord hath done for thee, ath had compassion on thee.

And he departed, and began to publish in polis 13 how great things Jesus had done for and all men did marvel.

And when Jesus was "passed over again by into the other side, much people gathered him: and he was nigh unto the sea.

And, behold, there cometh one of the "ruthe synagogue, Jairus by name; and when v him, he fell at his feet,

And besought him greatly, saying, My little ter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, and lay thy hands on her, that she may be ;14 and she shall live.

And Jesus went with him; and much people ed him, and thronged him.

33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

34 And he said unto her, Daughter, 'thy faith hath made thee whole, 'go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.21

43 And he 'charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

CHAP VI.

And when the sabbath day was come, he n to teach in the synagogue: and many hearim were astonished, saying, 'From whence this man these things? and 'what wisdom is which is given unto him, that even such ty works are wrought by his hands?

Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? they were offended at him.

But Jesus said unto them, A 'prophet is not ut honour, but in his own country, and g his own kin, and in his own house.

And he could there do no1 mighty work, that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, ealed them.

And he "marvelled because of their unbelief.
