9. Predestination to life eternal is the er lasting purpose of the great Spirit of Goodne decreed by the Almighty Ruler of the Unive before the world began. Wherefore our H venly Father, in accordance with this decr has promised to deliver finally from condem tion those who believe in Christ, and to bra them by Christ to enjoy the life to come.

Man may be saved by the law or swhich he professeth, so that he be diligent frame his life according to that law, and in co formity to his conscience, following the sp of the Gospel by the light which is in him. 12. There are two sacraments ordained Christ in the Gospel — Baptism and the Lord Supper.

Baptism is not only a sign of profession, a mark of difference whereby Christian men a known, but it is also a sign of the promises the forgiveness of sins, and of our adoption the Holy Ghost, whereby faith is confirmed, grace increased by virtue of
