Their place with Thee prepare.
Begirt with truth divine;
And followers of Thine.
That we Thy life may prove;

Then be thy name confest.
Tread all temptation down;
Hereafter share His crown.

The meek and lowly heart,
God of all power impart.
To know our call of grace;
Run our appointed race.
May we count all things loss;
Grow weary of the cross. 429. “ Suffer the Little Children to come unto Me."

We with joy obey Thy word,
Bring our little ones to Thee.

Find in each heart a faithful place.
May it a faithful emblem prove
And walk as children of Thy love.
O may they all with glad accord
And join themselves to Christ the Lord.
Confirm'd and strengthen’d by Thy grace ;
In heav'n behold Thee face to face. 431. They shall be My People.” L. M.

To sweeten all the rest.
That they with Christian power
By taking mutual share.
In prayer, and faith, and hope,
To build their household up.
Towards the Church, His bride,

434. The Vanity of Earthly Distinction. L. M.
Around in listning numbers throng:
And heav'nly truth inspire my tongue.
Alas, how impotent to save!
Or keep a brother from the grave ?
Man cannot long on earth abide;
Forgotten shall be all his pride.
(For like the wicked, they must die,)
To reign with Him eternally. 435. “ Here have we no Continuing City.” L.M.
(Heb. xiii. 14.)
This may distress the worldly mind :
Who hopes a better rest to find.
But seek a city out of sight;
And shines with everlasting light.
Where pilgrims freed from toil are blest;
I'd flee to thee and be at rest.
The time thy God appoints is best !
