signs! how mighty are thy wonders! thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion is from generation to generation (e).

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable (f). For lo! he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought; that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, the Lord, the God of Hosts, is his name (g).

Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God, for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee (h)! Thine is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty! for all that is in the hea (e) Dan. iv. 3. (f) Psalm clxv. 3.

Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all, and in thine hand is power and might, and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all (i). Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto thee, O God, for ever and ever. Amen (j).

PRAISE OF THE POWER OF GOD.

Power belongeth unto God. Psalm lxii. 11.

counsel, and mighty in work(b), art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the earth? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee (c)? Who is like unto thee, O Lord; who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders (d)? Is there any thing too hard for thee (e)?

The Lord is great in power: he hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up the rivers. The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence (f).

the sun and it riseth not, and he sealeth up the stars (g). He hath shut up the sea with doors, and said, "Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further; and here shall thy proud waves be stayed (h)". Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? His fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him (i). Behold the nations are as the drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: he taketh up the isles as a very little thing. All nations before him are as nothing, and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity(j). Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth

Blessed be thou, Lord God, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be thy glorious name, for ever and ever: and let the whole earth be filled with thy glory. Amen and Amen (m). Salvation, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God. Allelulia! for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth (n).
