10 The punishment of Cain.
gainst Abel his brother, and flew him.

9 And the LORD faid unto Cain, Where
is Abel thy brother And he faid, I
know not: Am I my brother's keeper?

GENESIS.

10 And he faid, What haft thou done? The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.

11 ¶ And now art thou curfed from the earth which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thyhand;

12 When thou tilleft the ground, it hall not henceforth yield unto thee her ftrength; a fugitive and a vagabond thalt thou be in the earth.

13 And Cain, faid unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

14 Behold, thou haft driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face fhall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it fhall come to pafs, that every one that findeth me fhall flay me.

And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat fons and daughters:

5. And all the days that Adam livet were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

1 The wickedness of the world caufeth the flood. & Noab findeth grace. 14 The order, form, and end of the ark. AND it came to pafs,when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2 That the fons of God faw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chofe.

3 And the LORD faid, My ipirit hall not always ftrive with man, for that he alfo is flesh: yet his days fall be an hun dred and twenty years,

4 There were giants in the earth in thofe days; and alfo after that, when the fons of God came in unto the daughte of men, and they bare children to themi, į the fame became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms fhalt thou make in the ark, and fhalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

And this is the fashion which thou fhalt make it of: The length of the ark fball be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

16 A window halt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it a bove; and the door of the ark halt thou let in the fide thereof; with lower, fecond, and third ftories halt thou make it.

17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth fhall die.

18 But with thee will establish my covenant; and thou fhalt come into the ark, thou, and thy fons, and thy wife, and thy fons' wives with thee.

19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every for halt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they fhall be male and female.

25 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every fort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.

21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather in to thee; and it thall be for food for thee, and for them.

5 And God faw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually,

6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

7 And the LORD faid, 'I will deftroy man whom I have created, from the face of the earth; both man, and beat, and the creeping things, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

6 But there went up a mift from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
