Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me ye cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink : I was a strạnger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not : sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not: Then shall they also answer him, Saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, cr sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee, Then shall he answer thiem, saying, Verily I say unto you, in as much as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. Mat. 25. 41–46. Ps. 11, 6, Prov. 1. 24-31. Mal. 4. 1. 2 Thes. 1.7-9. From men which are thy hand, O Lord, from men of the world which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure : they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes. As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake with thy likeness. The hope of the righteous shall be gladness : but the expectation of the wicked shall PERISH. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner : But he will burn up the chaf" with unquenchable fire. And I say unto you, that many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the Kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. His Lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant ; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things :-enter thou into the joy of thy Lord. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, dePART from me ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his

angels. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. He that believeth and is baptized, shall be SAVED; but he that believeth not shall be DAM

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like, He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock; and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it : for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did bcat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the puin of that house was great.

Marvel not at this : for the hour is coming in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice. And shall come forth: they that have done good unto the RESURRECTION OF LIFE ; and they that hüve done evil, unto the RESURRECTION OF DAMNATION. Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lunip, to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour ? What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much long suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction ? And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto Glory. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and

whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, anit all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone : which is the SECOND DEATH. Ps. 17. 14, 15. Prov. 10. 28. WORDS USED TO EXPRESS THE DURATION OF

FUTURI PUNISHMENT.

Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, €ut them off, and cast them from thee : it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into EVERLASTING fire. Who shall be pun. ished with EVERLASTING destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power. But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost, hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of ETERNAL damnation. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, arc set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of ETERNAL fire. These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved FOREVER. Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame ; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackpess of darkness FOREVER. The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignaa tion ; and he shall be tormented with fire and

brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the LAMB, And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever: and they have no rest day nop night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

And again they said, alleluia.

And her smoke rose up forever and ever. Mat. 18. 8. 2 Thes. 1. 9. Mark 3. 29. Jude 7. 2 Pet. 2. 17. Jude 13. Rev. !4. 10, 11. and 19. 3.

PHRASES USED TO EXPRESS THE DURATION

OF FUTURE PUNISHMENT.

Wherefore I say unto you, all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the The Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, nei. ther in this world, neither in the world to come. But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath NEVER forgiveness, but is in dan. ger of ETERNAL DAMNATION. If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. THERE IS A SIN UNTO DEATH :I do not say that he shall pray for it. For it is IMPOSSIBLE for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were wade partakers of the Holy Ghost. And have tasted the good word of Gov, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away to renew them again unto repentance ; sceing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and
