I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may
be one; as thou, Father, art, in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am ;
that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it ; that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
Jesus suffers in the garden. When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron,' where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.
And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death : tarry ye here, and watch.
And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down and prayed. ,
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me : nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What! could ye not watch with me one hour?
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my father, if this cup may
Cedron, on this side Jordan, ran through the valley, and entered the gardens of Gethsemane.
