Pr. 14: 14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

Jer. 2: 19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord God of hosts.

Jer. 3: 14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: 22 Re. turn, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings.

Hos. 10: 12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in inercy ; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. - 14: 1 0 Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for ihou hast fallen by thine iniquity. 2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
