CHAP. I. પહેલો અધા

1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

૧ આબરહાનનો દીકરો દાઊદ તેહના દીકરા ઈશ્યુ ખીશટની વંશાવલી [ૐ પુશતક] #

2 Abralian begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

૨ આબરહાને ઇશહાકને જનનાએવા ને ઈશાક ઈઆઅને જનનાએવા ને ઈઆબે ઇહુદાને તથા તેના ભાઈઓને જન નાએવા

3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom, and Esrom begat Aram;

૩ ને ઇહુદાએ ફાશને તથા નરાને થાનારથી જનનાએવા ને પ્રાદેશે હુશરોનને જનનાએવો ને હૅશરોને અરામને જનના એવા

4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salnon;

૪ ને અરાને આમીનાદાબને જનનાએવો ન આમીનાદાબે નાહશોનને જનનાએવો ને નાહ્યાને શાલમાનને જનનાએવો

5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

૫ ને શાલમાને બોઆજને રાખાબથી જનનાએવો નંખા જે ઓબેદને રૂથથી જનનાએવો ને એબેદ ઈશીને જનનાએવો 6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

૬ ને ઇશીએ દાઊદ રાજને જનમાએલો ન દાઊદ રાન ઊીઆની જે [બઇએર હતી] તેથી ઝુલેખાનને જનનાએવો * 7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;

૭ ને શુકેનાને રહુબઆમને જનનાએવો ને રહુબઆને આ બીઆને જનનાએલો ને આખીઆએ આશાને જનનાએવા

8 And Asa hegat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;

૮ નેઆશાએ ઈઆશાાને જનનાએવા ને ઇઆશાખ઼ટે ઇઆ રામને જનનાએવા ને ઇઆરાન અને જનનાએવા

9 And Ozias begatJoatham ; andJoatham begat Achaz and Achaz begat Ezekias;

૯ ને અજીઆએ ઇઆથામને જનનાએવો ને ઇઆથાને આ ખાજને જનનાએવો ને આખા અજoીઆને જનનાએવો

10 And Ezekias begat Manasses ; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

૧૦ ને અજકીઆએ નનાશને જનનાએવો ન ભનાશેએ આનાન ને જનનાએવા ને આનોને ઈશીઆને જનનાએવા

11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:

૧૧ ને ઇઓશીઆએ ઈએકોનીઆને તથા તેહુના ભાઇઓને બાબે લના પરદેશમાં જતીવેલા જનનાએવા

12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

૧૨ ને બાબેલના પરદેશનાં ગઆ પછી ઈએકોનીઆએ શલાથીએ

લને જનનાએવા ને શલાથીએલે જરૂખાબક્ષને જનનાએવા 13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begut Azor ;

૧૩ ને જરૂબાબતે અબીઊદને જનનાએવો ને અબીઊદે અલી ીનને જનનાએવો ને અલીઆકીને આÀરને જનનાએવા

14 And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achin; and Achim begat Eliud;

૧૪ નેઆખ્તર નદોકને જનનાઅવો ને નદોકે અખીમને જનમા એવા ને અખીને એલીઊદને જનનાએવા

15 And Elind begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

૧૫ ને અલીઊદે એલેઆારને જનનાએવો ને એલેઆન્તર ભા થાનને જનમાએવો તે માથાને ઇઆકુબને જનનાએવો

16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

૧૬ ને ઇઆકુબે નીઅનના વર ઇઊશને જનનાએવા [ને નીઅન]થી ઇશ્યુ જે ખીશ કેહેવાએધે તે જનનો

17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

૧૭ માટેઆબરહાનથી દાઊદ સુધી શયલી પેહેડી ચઊદ પહેડી ને દાઊદ્રથી બાબેલના પરદેશમાં જવા સુધી ચઊદ પહેડી ને બાબેલ ના પરદેશનાં ગાથી ખીશટ સુધી ચઊંટ પેહુડી

18 | Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
